Hi I'm new to this forum and fairly new to Astral Projection. I practice every night and I feel like I get closer and closer everynight. At night When I tell my body to go to sleep and let my mind stay awake I get a tingling sensation. Now 2 nights ago it started in my right foot. last night it started in my hands. It only last about a minute because than my heart rate goes up and I guess i get to excited? I'm only 16 trying to project and learn more about life. I Sometimes try to meditate in class for a good 10 minutes, sometimes when I drift off into sleeping on accident I just let my self go and let my mind stay awake and try to OBE but than it just rares off and my heart rate goes up again. any suggestions?

Hi I'm 16 too and kinda feel the same way, I get the vibrational sensation but can't seem to get any further...
Guess the best advice anyone could give you is to stay calm and practice. The more you get used to the sensation the more normal it will feel and hopefully your heart rate won't increase?

Hi Supacudi :-) This reminds me of something that a friend told me. He told me that he was trying to learn how to astral project and what he would do is go to his morning class then he would go upstairs and fall asleep in some kind of a lounge area and try to AP. He said that he could get to the vibration state but he couldn't ever leave his body. In my experience once you get to the vibrational state its easy to exit. However, one time I tried to AP well everyone in the house was awake and doing their thing and I couldn't. I was bound from leaving my body it seemed like even when the vibrations became very intense. In conclusion, I think when a lot of activity is going on around you it makes it harder to AP. As far as staying calm that just takes practice. Good luck!

hey guys im 17, and the only i can say is. practice, practice, practice. With time you'll get accustomed to the vibrations, and learn not to get too excited. It's easiest for many people to attempt in the early morning after some sleep -when your body is most relaxed.

Just a tip, Let your body fall ASLEEP. You feeling for parts going numb or tingling means you are focusing on your body and not letting it fall asleep.
I know this is mentioned so much now, but try practicing in the morning after waking up it really is the best time to try OBE
