K so we all know one of the best ways to make your body feel numb and dissociated from the rest of you is to simply lay dead still for 45 mins or longer to help get to the right state to use a technique to project but I am still trying to lay still but not had much luck so far due to interfearances.

Is there any other method which could aid in making the body numb and feel dissociated from your mind which one could use? how do some of you do it? pls only answer on this and not the topic of what the best state is of trying to seperate is or other stuff.

There aren't any shortcuts, just practice. The more you get used to achieving the state you speak of, the easier it'll be to reproduce in the future.

Perceptually dissociating from the body is as much a mental exercise as a physical one... laying dead still helps but it's not enough. You need to remove your focus off the thought "when will I project? i'm doing everything i'm suppose to!" and onto a focus exercise, simple as that. There's no special trick that will allow one to bypass the practice you need to put in, as was already stated.

Helps to try after you've had a long night's sleep when you're body is naturally relaxed and your mind isn't as tired. Also focusing your eyes in the blackness keeps your mind awake enough so you don't fall asleep. I also really concentrate on holding my mind blank since getting excited at this stage screws everything up (oh yes, and the vodka mentioned earlier doesn't hurt).

I was kidding about the vodka - I just mentioned it because an earlier poster did, however drinking a moderate amount of alcohol doesn't hurt to relax the body and mind.

Yes - DMT or other hallucinagenic drugs - although that's probably not the answer you were looking for.

You have all the DMT you need inside your pineal gland

There's only ONE way to disassociate from your physical reality... that's to ignore it.
