Choosing/Creating Your own Afterlife

Im quite new to the subject of Astral Projection and am loving every minute of studying and developing my astral muscles so to speak.
 
Now, my best friend, who is wanting to study mediumship and has about every book possible about the subject asked me a few questions regarding The astral enviornment, and all subsequent properties of what is and isent possible. Obviously I could only answer from what I know, but he did ask something that afterward I wanted to investigate but could find no information besides a few obvious fraud sites about.
   
If we as a people who know how the subtle energies of the astral work and can in many ways mould certain realities or locate any of the inifnate number of realities, could we create our own afterlife through our thought creation alone? And upon death choose to go there.

I know he sorta didnt make it clearly understandable from many aspects. The long and the short is that if whatever we imagine is created on the astral plane, could we in life give birth to a realm from our imagination, populate it wif energy contructs of peoples and creatures we desire to inteact wif, and upon passing over go there and make it our own Afterlife, even choose to forget our previous existence and simply live on in that created realm where we are happiest!

Safe to say hes practically in love wif the idea because he'd chosse to make Wonderland a reality and live there wif those characters such as Alice, Hatter what have you.
It made me laugh my head off, but its an interesting question that I thought should be shared wif others that have far greater experience and knowledge in Astral Projection and Energy development skill than I have.

I just want to raise a point. What if we get tired of having all our wishes fulfilled all the time? What if we get bored of such reality and craved for a more realistic challenge (knowing that we didn't imagine this challenge but that it is actually a challenge like that of experiencing being physically alive)?

And what if we start wondering if being with our loved ones there is nothing but a forgery by our unconscious mind, which, by the way, has the power to fool us. How can we ever know in a reality that is constantly changing according to our wishes. It could quickly become the concept of a prison and turn into a nightmare...a possible perpetual nightmare.

I'd rather be unconscious at death. I'd rather not know. I'd rather not know anything at all. I want oblivion. What you don't know can't hurt you. I want to be free of all concepts and be absent from life or any sort of experience. To me this is complete freedom. Ignorance is bliss. Real death is the real heaven. There is no self. Truly immortal as what's truly dead cannot experience suffering and death again. I guess what I want is kinda like Buddha and his nirvana...the cessation of being. Dead to the world. Non-existent. It's an attractive possibility and although it almost sounds like a very much deserved rest...I won't even experience resting...it's beyond that.

I get Where your going wif the Forgery of our unconscious mind Summerlander, But is'nt that whole idea of a perpetual nightmare realm when taken in conjuction wif astral Creation simply saying that your reality purposly would unravel & send you spiralling into a Lower Sub Realm. I think the idea im trying to convey is that the afterlife creation adpoted for time after death remain firmly cemented in the realms of higher frequency as in whilst there would you not experience that reality as you would your earth life.

Hmm thats interesting, A Fail safe precautionary measure implemented by the 'You' the creator so as to not allow chaotic fragmentation of your own blissful state!

Im a novice yes, But, if such a reality could exist threw 1st being created wif all preliminaries in mind and consciously constructed to within your own personal fail safe perameters and then 2nd occupied by you after passing on from the earth realm. Could it it not simply be experienced as though you have just been reborn a human again, from a physical point of view, and you simply start your new life without conscious awarness that you created this world/alternate reality/

If the concept of alternate INFINATE realities were to be broadened along the spectrum couldnt every other alternate reality be born of a persons consciousness so as they could live how they please, wif it all mapped out already to theyre own specifications and yet not be aware that they are the creator in theyre own rite.

Wow ive no idea where all those pieces fitted together, but its an interesting hypothesis, if it actuall qualifies as a hypothesis
