Recurring OBE - flying through a series of rooms

For the last few months I find myself lifting out and flying in the 3D black world and when I start seeing a visual it's a series of elaborately decorated interior rooms that I fly through - sometimes up to a dozen of rooms that keep forming one after another.

Any similar experiences or idea of what these rooms represent? I find it a big frustrating because I feel they're acting as barriers keeping me from getting to F3 where the most interesting people, conversations and places seem to be.

What if there is no Focus 3?  ... and you're flying through the very areas that you're subconsciously wanting to go to?

I think you should just explore these "rooms" and see what they're all about.  :)

Try not to have any expectations and explore whatever environments you encounter. On the other hand, the Phase can provide you with different perspectives, insights and there is a potential for self-improvement. You can get ideas or get in touch with your creativity in that state, for example. I once saw paintings that were strangely familiar to me there and yet I had not painted them. I took them to be my art ideas which remain non-physical until I decide to manifest them.

I have experienced doors too. In one OBE, after going through a grid-like tunnel, I came to a door that seemed to be of classical Greek/Roman design; very elaborate. When I passed through the door, I found myself in this very large room or structure with other beings/some appeared to be human. As I buzzed above them, I sensed they were annoyed by my presence. and I returned to the physical. During another OBE, I went through three different doors, each that seemed to take me to a different lifetime (past or parallel -- don't know).

I also see the rooms once in awhile during the 3D darkness phase. Sometimes they are rooms, but mostly they are tunnels and vortexes. I usually end up in this zone when I am ready to stop my session. It is such a quiet and relaxing area to be in. But. if I stay too long I'll forget alot of what has happened in that session. Usually while I am in that zone a voice will come in and say that it's time to go.

I'm with Xanth. Explore the rooms.

Rooms generally have a purpose. Are these like bedrooms and lounges and stuff or are they more mysterious? If it's not obvious then try and figure out what they're for. Sit in them for a bit to see if anything happens. Examine the contents and decor for any messages or clues to their purpose.

Do you find the same rooms every time you experience this? If you change something is the change still there when you go back?

Just out of curiosity, are the rooms connected or doorless? Do they have windows at all? Do they seem related or are they totally different?

Jilt

The rooms are totally different and of different eras (some Victorian, some modern) and they are thrown up in my way as I'm flying through the air so I don't see them as something to explore (they seem more like film sets) but rather as barriers to my flight (similar to recurring telephone wires).

For some reason when I arrive in interior rooms (houses, offices, malls) they feel more dreamlike then when I arrive at vivid outdoor spaces with structures (what I interpret as F3) so I'm usually working on clearing the mental chatter/raising my vibration to get there. Perhaps the rooms/telephone wires are just mental garbage I need to clean up.

Xanth

First, and honestly speaking, I don't even know what "dream-like" means...
I wouldn't call any of my dreams "dream-like".  Quite contrary, I would call my dreams "physical-like".  LoL

Anyway, I digress now... :)

These rooms are being put up by you/your consciousness/something else for a reason.  You might be intellectually viewing them as barriers... but that's the "intellect-you" talking.  You should still try your best and explore them... you might be surprised.  :)

My regular dreams and lower level OBE "dream like" environments shape-shift and are not as vivid for me personally.

On the other hand, what I surmise are F3 environments are solid, hyper-real, where all the senses work and the characters and locations don't shape-shift and in-depth conversations can last up to 15-20 minutes.  This is my goal 'area' since the other environments aren't as rewarding or lucid. I usually get there after what I experience as a relatively long period of flying or blindly rushing forward in 3-D blackness. I usually know by the feeling of the place if I'm there and if it doesn't feel solid/real enough, I keep going.

So the rooms are a new thing? You used to just fly through the blackness till you hit a populated area?

Sounds like these rooms could be significant. Have you ever tried hanging around in one to see if anybody turns up? Could they perhaps be doorways to the places where they belong?

Jilt

The rooms are common and usually show up when I'm just getting out of my body and trying to get 'outside' (in the beginning I used to get stuck in endless variations of my attic as a similar example) so perhaps it's my consciousness translating that I haven't transitioned to whatever astral state I'm hoping to achieve quite yet.

If I stop in any of these rooms they are empty of people and like flimsy film sets (I used to be in film production so maybe there's a connection there). I find if I start singing or meditating or just thinking positive happy thoughts that I'm able to transcend them eventually and get to more interesting vivid locales so I was curious when I originally posted it if others have similar barriers to flying/progress.

Xanth

Well, they obviously stand for something to you.
I think it's important to figure out what.  :)

I'm glad i read this. I usually go through series of rooms every time I project. I have found VERY interesting things in these rooms before. The rooms always seem elegantly decorated for me, usually looking kind of old. I went through one room full of origami paper figures floating everywhere. Usually if you will yourself to go somewhere, the rooms will fade out and you'll (hopefully) find yourself at a very interesting place. I have met guides in these small rooms. I believe this is you hopping in and out of places that other beings have created for themselves in the astral. I see things reflecting hobbies and lifestyles in these rooms very often. These rooms can be awesome if you try to stay in one.

You might want to try Frank's 'slats' method to get rid of the rooms.

Yes, I too have found very elegant Victorian-like rooms that seem like a page back in time so that makes some sense that they could have been created in the astral in the past. Interesting theory! I'll check them out more next time instead of viewing them as a hassle.

usually, if you find yourself somewhere in the astral, you're meant to be there. Staying in the room would probably lead you to another adventure in the astral.
