Spirit guide was really a neg

I had gotten into sleep paralysis and after about 10 mins of laying in paralysis i saw somebody walk past me a couple of times. At the time i thought it was somebody i knew in real life and that i was just seeing them thru open eyes while in a trance about to project. So i was like im going to get their attention because i wanted them to see me while i was in sleep paralysis in an attempt for me to communicate while still asleep seemed like a cool idea to me. So i think i said something like hey in a forced pressure sort of way typical to vocalizations while in sleep paralysis. So this entity walks right up too me and at this point i quickly realize it wasn't who i thought it to be, the entity was translucent like the double body in the RTZ and it walked right up to my left side about a foot away and stopped just looking at me for about oh maybe 30 secs at first i thought maybe its a guide and asked for help and guidance but it just kept staring at me after 30 seconds it turned around and walk back the way it came into the other room and at this point i forced myself awake thinking WTF.

In my experiences your spirit guide doesn't show unless you call them. Try not to be TOO friendly to any entities you come across in the realm.. just a little heads up.

Well it made me nervous but it might have not been a neg im not sure did not look scary or anything but was definitively a i dont know

I could draw a picture of it if i knew how to upload a pic to this forum thread but i can describe it it was see through and the same color and substance like the eathric double but it was about 4 feet tall and rounded the head had like to round things hanging from the sides but i dont remember a face of any kind the weird thing was the feet seem to be a white solid very different from the rest of the body, dont remember it saying any thing to me but it definitively had a mind of its own. My question is if it wasn't a neg than what could it have been also what qualifies as a neg is a neg just every thing negative or is there something else to it.

It could have been anything and anyone- just as you project, so do everyone else and probably all animals, or a large percentage of them.  It could have been an elemental, and it could have been your own projected double, especially if you were viewing this from the point of view of your own body.
When you're in trance you have more chances of seeing other projectors, which is why so many 'ghost' reports happen from people in bed getting ready to go to sleep or just waking up.

It's a being made of an element - earth, air, etc.

The only book I've read that goes into any detail on them is Initiation Into Hermetics. You can make them to do stuff for you, or that might be elementaries(I get confused).

If you pluralize it (elementals), it should make it easier to google.
