Congratulations on the projection. [:)]
Many people who project complain of having limited mobility when too near the physical body. The physical body does exert a strong pull on the astral/ethereal body. This pull can be countereacted by moving away from the physical body.
Most people who project more than two or three times overcome this limitation. So this is a problem you will overcome with more projections. Good luck.

Listened to track 2 of cd1 of the MRI "Gateway Experience" one night, (using a variation of Frank's phasing method),  followed by a track on another cd, (Dr. Jeff Thompson stuff/Neuroacoustic Technologies website).  Ha.  Then rolled over thinking, "Now forget everything you've learned; just follow the drift, so to speak."  Ha.  Before long there were hypnogogic images flitting in and out, followed by realizing I was "floating" at the foot of my bed, looking back at my body under the bedcovers.  I must have slipped out in about the same position my body was in, because I was at mattress level and couldn't see my head beyond the hump of the rest of my physicality.  Felt free, felt great, was ready to roll right through the door, fully equipped with a loving and adventurous mindset. Except I couldn't get turned around from seeing my body!  I would try and would briefly get pure darkness, then it was like a big rubber hook just whipped my vision back around to the same scene of my body lying there.  After a couple times of this, I came back into the physical, soon wondering if I had been seeing out the top of my 2nd body's head, (which was pointed at my physical body), and hadn't understood the spherical nature of oob sight.  Thus the problem with seeing and getting moving.  Hmm?
