Hey FT,
Don't worry about that, you're not the only one who's got that problem! The best remedy is to practice.

For me currently, it is something I work on mainly. I practice every day at least 30 minutes, concentrating on something and maintaining my focus. Furthermore, during the day when I'm doing things (studying, doing the dishes, eating), I trie to maintain my focus on what I'm doing at the moment, not paying attention to interfering thoughts.

When you don't pay attention to them, by ignoring them and maintaining your focus on what you want, the interfering thoughts and images start to fade to the background, and disappear in the end.

For sure in my case, it's the reason why I can't project at will still; I simply get distracted al the time, or lose myself in an image and fall asleep/ start dreaming... Or, for example, when I practice climbing the rope, my focus flicks back to my body (to check if it is really relaxed or whatever!) and there I am again back at the beginning of my the exercise.

Best regards,
Ebele

For mental focus, practise for 5 seconds as a time but all the time.
That is to say, strive for a 5 second focus and then increase the time as it becomes easier to do.
It doesn't matter what you focus on, it may be a formal meditative focus or making a cup of coffee. Just focus on whatever it is as well as you can.
When you get a feel for a focus transfer it to your energy work or meditation.

Just relax and breathe slowly and calm and try to focus on one thing. Try to focus on youself, alone in a quiet place with nothing around you that may make your mind stray off. And then focus on what you are attempting to do.

Its easier to clear your mind if you havent listened to any music for about and half a hour to a hour.

Thats what i do.

Franz Bardon has some good concentration advice.

Personally I also have the triple/quadruple voices [especialy when meditating or doing energy work].

I KNOW what is my primary conscious and subconscious, but I still get other "thought" stuff flying around.

Weirdly--over the last few weeks I've been thinking about taking a razor and chopping off all moles, skin blemishes, etc [I had tried RB's "crossing off with a pen" technique but got no visible results].
Would it be my subcoscnious signalling that I got some unwanted visitors??

Hi.

I just got back into doing practical energy work and I figured out that the only reason I strayed off it to do NEW was because of my lack of FOCUS! I can't focus on ANYTHING! I have about 4 minds at once, 1 or 2 focusing and the rest blabbing on. I can silence textual thoughts EASY but then there's the music and the images. I focus on silencing those and the text comes back! I can't even tell if I'm doing things right anymore...I feel pathetic and useless when it comes to a time when I practice using energy.

Anything that could help on focus would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.
