Can someone explain something to me about the consciousness shift theory?

So, I don't exactly know why this would be good for everyone (including me). So, one, we all get sent to the astral word, why is that good? So none of us will communicate ever again unless we're experienced as spiritual activity, and end up just living in our dream world forever?

Two, the astral world comes to us and we have no idea what's going to come down on us if we have no experience in communicating with the entities?

Three, the fact that a fraction of people do want to make something of themselves in the physical world before they leave it, now they won't because we'll all be cast away literately and forced to be a nobody again?

I mean, as an individual, how will it benefit us if this theory happens? And when it comes to words I'm more connected to the meterial side of things, so "Spirit", "Divine", "Concsciousness" (even though I said it in the title), "energy", or any other spiritual terms, you'll have to describe in further detail.

There are many theories and explanations, this one is just one of the many theories. I definitively think there's going to be some kind of consciousness shift, but how big and in what form is unknown to me.

It doesn't mean we all die and get sent to the astral world. Also, it seems like you're confused about what the astral really is. Guessing from your post, you've probably not projected yet, am I correct? It is much more than a dream world. Experience it and you will probably think this physical world is more like a dream world than the astral is.

Deep inside I think we know a lot more. But, I think this is a learning experience. If you die and go to the astral you will not have problems with doing things like communicating, there is enough help and it also comes naturally. You've been there before.

The "wanting to make something out of the physical" is natural for many people, yes. We can talk about where this comes from for a long time, for example I would say survival instinct combined with events after death being unknown to many create a fear for this unknown and a fear for not being able to please the survival instinct, but this discussion is not really an answer to your question. I doubt we'll all just be cast away, and if we assume this happens, we won't be a nobody. The astral is in my opinion much more enjoyable than this physical world, and we're so so much more than a nobody.

You can probably agree that our world is in bad shape. Greed, hate, anger and bad thoughts have corrupted a lot of people. You could say they are asleep. Wars, etc. People fight, die because of poverty and hunger, we destroy our planet. Society is not very enjoyable for the most part, in fact I think our society needs enormous changes. This is also what the consciousness shift could be. People waking up and becoming aware of the mistakes humanity and it's society make every day. People becoming aware of what is happening and how the world works, people becoming aware of these huge problems and no longer accepting them.

Words like spirit, divine, energy and consciousness are used a lot. I think we really are something that you could call a spirit. We have consciousness and because we have a physical body at this moment our consciousness is focused at it. We can take away the focus from the physical and this is called an astral projection. We are also divine. Our potential is unlimited. Energy on this board has a meaning close to the "classical" meaning of the word.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

That clears a lot of things up, and I've never projected, my arms coming out is the closest I've ever got, like one time when they felt like they were floating away and somewhere else altogether, I opened my eyes and my arms where by my side but felt like they were sprawled out. Feeling was very weird, they soon aligned with my body when I became more focussed.

I think I've had one or two OBE's but I wasn't conscious enough inside them to call them better than the physical world reality..
