Hey guys wassup wassup.

I had a SUPER AMAZING EXPERIENCE today.

So a lil review ive been hardcore meditating for a couple months, and ive finally decided ima go back to trying to get obe's, since what im really interested is higher awareness i dont want to just have fun you know?

I tried yesterday, no success, i tried last night, no success, but last night i was sleeping unusually light, i felt like i barley got into dreams cus my body was still there somehow. I also got a perfect 7 hrs (usually way oversleep) so i kinda got up walked around a bit layed on the couch and tried to fade down then went back to my bed.

The technique that i used was i imagined something a single real object that i ACTUALLY cared about and concentrated on it. Im sure you've heard of this method but you have to CARE about the object for it to stick. The object i imagined was MONEY LOL, i could actually smell it ha ha ha. i also meditated on the blackness behind my eyeballs, tried to listen to my ears whining, and tried to feel my heartbeat. the last two didn't really stick though.

Be careful and don't take too much on at once you want to MAINTAIN a constant "formula" of sleep and concentration, where the end result is not too much of either. My chi raising techniques helped me stabilize it.

So there you go, now what happened was i was DREAMING, but i was still lying there IN MY BED. it was like the inverse of lucid dreaming almost! like a trance. and i kinda started switching between trance, and lucid dreaming, i think this went on for a couple hours, but it didn't feel like it. all of a sudden i realize that im awake and dreaming i mean really power awake. i could remember all my dreams and i could experience this excrement. the first thing i noticed was how much stronger my senses were, but also how unstable my energy was, it felt uncomfortable forcing two consciousness together like the energy was too stressful in my dream body. I tried to focus and focus and focus on OBEing and i got vibrations, but i could feel "real body" too and it was making it uncomfortable, there was alot of NOT GOOD feeling, and i felt there was an energy blockage in my right leg mid-thigh.

Anyways I realized that i couldn't make it so i tried to make my energy get better in the dream so since i kinda had a heightened kind of awareness in my dream i was able to figure out energy raising techniques right on the spot, i ran around while brightening the colors, in a way that i cant really explain, and i ate food to increase my energy and power as well. i was maintaing lucidity and memory for a long time now and still had the memories of all my other dreams in my head as well, as well as periodically transitioning to feeling my body, and i tried to fly but then decided it was too distracting and tried to SEE my body and to go out of body, i saw me lying there for half a sec, but i was in such a different head space. Then i woke up.

OKay if you dont like deep philosophy and introspection then DONT READ THIS PART>>>

A couple things i realized is that even though my EGO was the same in the dream my entire subcoincious and hormones were WAY different, a la smoking marijuana or doing hard drugs.

The difference was so DRASTIC that it made it hard to remember the dream as being even the SAME PERSON, even though i maintained exactly the same EGO.

The second thing i realized was that in my dreams my senses were PURE and my mind was FRACTURED, while in waking my mind was PURE while my senses are FRACTURED.
Okay, so what i mean by that is
i don't mean fractured like broken i mean fractured like so complex and changing that you cant focus on one pure thing. like for example in my dream i could focus on the essence of a sense like color and it would become stronger and stronger, but i couldn't hold my thoughts. While waking the thoughts are simpler and so you can increase them, but the outside world and senses are too complex so you cant single out their purity.
I feel like if i could focus on just one color like say the white on my monitor with enough purity for long enough, i could intensify it enough for it to become brighter and brighter, more colorful. In fact im going to start doing purity meditation because i realize that we cant find the essence of things because they are ever-changing and inter-melting, never being in a position long enough to become stronger. you have to wade through that filter. I may even be able to dream on command one day.

So anyways i am wondering HOW DO I GAIN MORE POWER/ENERGY/CONTROL/AWARENESS in my dream state so that i can start to meditate in the dream or go out of body.

Love astral pulse <3,
David

Actually, using an object that carries or causes an emotional reaction in yourself is probably not the best idea... as the reaction you want is the opposite.  You want to be able to shut down and control those emotions.

The object in question shouldn't matter so much as your ability to focus and retain your focus upon it.

Are these techniques you're trying during a single session?  If so, you're not giving them the attention and focus that they deserve.  Try one for a few nights, possibly a week or two... then move onto the next if it's not working for you.

You've got the right idea though in learning to meditate first.  To project from a fully conscious state, you need to put yourself into that "on the edge of sleep" state without actually going to sleep.  You do this by removing those "mind interruptions" that we usually get during the day in the form of surface thoughts of your mind.  I'd go back to practicing just your meditations... you'll quickly find that a switch in your conscious awareness towards projection/phasing is a naturally progression from practicing meditation.  :)

Then you'll see that it's not so much about "gaining power/energy/whatever", but it becomes an exercise in focusing your awareness and Intent towards the goal you want.  :)

Ryan, I find your reply very interesting.. I'm practicing meditation everyday and I've found many benefits out of it regardless of any phasing/projecting intentions.

I just felt curious to ask: What kind of meditation do you practice or suggest?

and, have you heard of Robert Bruce's New Energy Ways? and if you have, what is your opinion over it?

I've heard of it, and know a great deal about it, but I don't practice it.

My meditation is more of a passively-goal-oriented towards Phasing without actively going for a Projection.
I try to work towards the Point Consciousness state.  Some people call it the "Void".  It's the removal of your consciousness from everything Physical.  :)

I do this through one of the Phasing exercises that Frank used to teach plus some others I've come up with on my own.

Thank you Ryan, let me tell you that I have read your e-book and I found it surprisingly helpful! Still a begginer,I think I've made progress though!
