The 29th, VIRGO will be enacting REVELATION 12:1-2, Giving "Birth" to VENUS just before the RED DRAGON comes in, this act will last until Oct 3rd.

ON OCTOBER 16th ELENIN will be closest to Earth and the latest trajectory reports from NASA
                          report a close miss by this object.

According to the Temple of the Sun and its calculations, the MAYAN Calendar ends on October 28th, 2011, when we will be entering the "Comets" tail for three days.

This event is the "VEIL" between the Picean Age and The Aquqrian Age, just as VENUS is "Passing the Veil" from the Womb of VIRGO...

Lol... I have heard your Elenin argument too, Karas. I don't know where it originitated, but there seemed to be a lot of dis-information in those schemes, as to the actual size of elenin (it could not possibly be 100 times the size of the earth, and not exert noticable gravity on the other planets, while coming though the inner solar system so often as it does).

I go for diffent cultures and there beliefs etc Like the mayans, through out history people new how the skys work and they use the constellations to create a code within the storys in our religus texts. Pretty amazing when they all lead to the same thing. As for the date for the 3 day darkness thing I just found that info on a docmentory that was posted on this fourm somewhere, but the point is that this is part of what the ancients are telling us so like as long as were awere of theses signs they gave us, we can help others be awere of it too ^_^

I do know this is important event in history (the history to come) because it is supposed to help progress us in evolution, and whip all negative thoughts from the earth.. but I dont know? It reminds me of religions that are to proud and boasting themselves. They are also blasphemers: 

Blasphemy: The act of claiming the attributes or prerogatives of deity. 

And they idolized there bibles like pagans do with there's. 

Idolatry: Idolatry is usually defined as worship of any cult image, idea, or object, as opposed to the worship of a monotheistic God. Blind or excessive devotion to something such as a graven image or other human work.

They are lovers of themselves but that's mostly everyone on this planet unless they are awaken. But for theses groups the reason why they join theses enslavement beliefs is cause they don't wana die or burn somewhere.

If it comes as some predict then being outside, even with goggles and a Riddick mindset, could be unpleasant.

Has anyone ever thought about the 3 day patten within the bible? Jonah was inside a fish for 3 days and in reailty it'd be dark inside that fish. Jesus got put on a cross at 3pm died at about 9pm after his cry out then 3 days later he comes back. Maby there's more storys in the bible that involes 3 days but theses are the ones I know of so far. There is an intresting evidence that theses storys were based on the sun and stars and I'm wondering, could this 3 day of darkness be the same as the storys in the bible and the writers were exspressing the events with storys? Bible is full of 12,s and 3's

I've heard of the 3 days being a metaphorical thing for an inner transformation. I've even read of past cultures, like in Egypt and Africa, where they would put an initiate into a completely darkened room for 3 days (I'm simplifying, it's more detailed then just that), and they come out transformed.

 Just throwing this out there. They say the comet dimmed and then disintegrated. If it was of artificial nature do we really think that it would be coming with lights flaring and bells whistling? Possibly it doesn't wish to be seen. When our own Police sneak up on a crime scene they turn their lights and sirens off before they get within a close proximity. Anything is possible. I don't share the doom and gloom part of this. Richard Hoagland doesn't either. He says it may be something we sent years ago and that it's purpose is to bring a message of hope. I like that scenario!
