Hello all. I realize that this question may be in the wrong section, or that it may have been answered. For the first one, sorry if its in the wrong section, I do not know the difference from the large amount of sections this forum has to offer.

For the second, I didn't search because I want to get to know you all. If I search and find an answer, I don't get o make friends, nor do I get an answer that suits me. So anyways, the question.

I am a very experienced lucid dreamer. Its nothing to brag about I know, but when I started to get into lucid dreaming, I'd use a method known as sleep paralysis. I developed it a little bit, anyways, after about 20 minutes, I'd feel strong vibrations, and then numbness. When those feelings left me, I would open my eyes and be in a dream.

So, my question is, when I am doing this, trying to get into the hypnogogic stage, are the vibrations I feel the same vibrations that are referred to greatly on this forum? If so, I am fairly confident that I could use the sleep paralysis method I have, and then use an exit method to leave my body.

So, astral pulse, are the two vibrations I am describing the same thing?

Yes, it sounds like it. The vibrations seem to be a frequency change that allows us to be in tune to the Astral and other Dimensions. After while you won't really notice them at all.

Thanks for the reply, so if I do my normal thing, go into sleep paralysis, and then try an exit method, there is a possibility of an Astral Projection?

Also, is it difficult to find the Akashic Records?

Sorry for asking so many questions, I want to finally have a projection so I can experience it, and hopefully contribute more!

You need to go into this slowly. First learn how to just observe in the Astral. I still haven't went into Akashic Records. But, I really haven't put intent to do it either. I don't necessarily use an exit method, I prefer to Phase. With Phasing you don't have to leave the body per say. Your normal thing seems fine, there are a number of people here that OBE from a Lucid Dream. I have never tried it myself, but since I have learned to Phase I find I awaken quite a bit in the middle of my dreams. From there I usually direct them or change them, depending on the circumstances.

TheExplorer

Would you mind explaining what phasing is? I don't really understand the definitions that have been given.

Greetings The Explorer
Yes, you got it right about Sleep paralysis (SP). SP is the same whether a person is trying to go out of body or is inducing a lucid dream. The reason SP is preferred for trying to go out of body is that it prevents the physical body from moving. Many people fail to go out of body (OOB) because the physical body somehow gets in the way (they open their eyes, or have an itch or roll over, etc etc). SP largely negates the possibility of those things happening thus making it much easier to get OOB.

Sincerely  :-)

This is Phasing, <removed address>. Hopefully this helps you.
