Boom

...  Why? Because there is so much hype about it.. and I just cant figure out whats right and whats wrong...
Guess we would find out eventually... but if it was all going to go to excrement. I'd rather know about it for sure so I can head home to be with family! Not fair!!

And if all the conspiracies and alignment theories etc are all bovine excrement (which they probably are!) Then great! then we can forget about it all and carry on with life!

Just wish there was some solid information out there which cant be refuted about what is out there what is going to happen.  There seems to be endless doomsday excrement going on right now.  Are people prophesising 2011/2012 as a major shift more than any other period in time?  Or is it just seeming like it, because we have the internet now? People can spread their words? With people having access easy access to historical data allowing them to piece together these theories?

I'm just sick of all the scare mongering, and all the debate... Cant we just have something solid?   NASA says its just a comet, which is disintegrating as it gets closer to the sun.... "oooh but you cant trust NASA... Governments would never tell people so far in advance of pending doom as social order would break down."    "Look at this video its Nibiru seen from the southern hemisphere.." - cue shakey blurry video a light in the sky.  Great.. I'll get stocking up now shall I!?  - Theres a news blackout! News is keeping us busy with trivial stuff like Tripoli so we are distracted from whats really going on!!!!

And what the hell is all this "shift in conciousness" stuff? Doesnt make any sense!?

Just needed a rant!

*EDIT*: Love how the anti swear filter changed the subject for me :)

Hi Boom,

Yeah it's crazy isn't it?  Personally, it's all irrelevant.  Here is what IS solid.  When I walk outside and look at the sky, the sun is shining, the sky is blue, the clouds are puffy, the trees are magnificent and green with the comforting wind blowing through the leaves, the birds are chirping and the locusts are singing.  The only moment that truly matters is right Now.  Everything else is irrelevant.

Can you guys not make a post without swearing?  Geeze...
It doesn't make you cool... it makes your writing look less intelligent, unworthy of being read.

Now THAT is something I can get on board with.
Great post Kail.  :)

If everything in 2012 absolutely goes to excrement, what difference does it really make?  I mean, obviously it matters for the future.  But right here, right now, what are any of us going to do about it?  If it isn't going to happen, then you shouldn't worry, and absolutely, enjoy the MOMENT.  If it is going to happen, you yourself and an army of believers won't alter destined events, so... enjoy the MOMENT!

And if you really think about it, this is all based around fear for the future.
What future?  What's the point of worrying about it?

If we're all really just consciousness trying to better ourselves, then what matter is it if this world comes to and end or not?  We'll continue on our spiritual evolution regardless.  We'll live, we'll die... we'll do it all over again learning as we go.

All this talk about the end of the world is a meaningless scenario when you look at it from the perspective that we're just consciousness here to grow spiritually.

Hey,
All this nonsense is keeping those crystal meth addicts on their trip. Its the same madness put in a different way.
Ignore it, if it happens to them the rest of us carry on regardless. If it really happens then welcome the spiritual enlightenment gained by being part of the pulse. We all will continue on, the parameters may have changed a little.
Thats life, you are obviously a far better person.
well done.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Sure you could call all the 2012 stuff irrelevant, but it wouldn't hurt to know what may or may not happen within the next year or so. I don't believe the world is going to end, but I'm hoping that SOMETHING will happen in accordance with all the ancient prophecies and stuff. If I knew mankind were going to be extinct within the next year, I wouldn't necessarily live in the NOW. I wouldn't be able to change my fate, but I'd probably I fit in things to my schedule things I wouldn't have planned on doing such as skydiving or stuff like that. If there were to be vast amounts of natural disasters and I knew it, I wouldn't live in the NOW and just wait for it to happen. I'd probably plan ahead and take necessary action to survive that way I can live longer to experience and grow spiritually. You could do a lot in the right here right now that would definitely make a difference in the future. Just sayin'.

That's likely the reason why no one is ever going to know except maybe "the powers that be". If they came on the news today and said the world was going to end next year, what do you think would happen with "business as usual". That announcement would likely cause as much strife in the world as an actual Apocalypse would. I think we are changing right now, demonstrations and outbursts are occurring all over the world right now at a record pace. I think "we" are the change that occurs in 2012. I that the old ways of ruling are going to be thrust out and a "new world order" will be the outcome. I'm onboard with that scenario!  :-)

Those who live in the NOW do not "wait" for anything.  They are enjoying life.  Anything and everything else beyond the present moment is completely irrelevant.  When someone goes to the library and picks a book from the shelf to read, they are not concerned about what is in the other books further down the shelf.

Why does the end of the world have to be approaching to do those things? Living in the NOW is living your passions NOW, not needing an excuse to do them. In this case, fear of an end and not being able to do anything ever again. Do it because you want to, not because you won't be able to later.

I don't necessarily fear the end. Simply put, if I knew the world was going to end in a year, I'd probably take part in various activities that I normally would have waited to do later. That's all I'm saying. I'm living in the NOW enjoying life, but since I don't necessarily believe the world is going to "end", I'm going to school for a future past 2012, and I'm saving money to use after 2012. If the end of the world in 2012 were confirmed and factual, I'd probably change up my current schedule.

Why does the world have to be coming to an end for you to finally GRASP LIFE and do stuff?

In any case, nothing ever ends...

Makes sense. You have to balance life. But it should never hold you back from your real passions.
