This is the link to a documentary on youtube regarding a "different" take on consciousness --- different than say, the governments or your local parish.  I've seen many documentaries on this subject, but this one really hit a home-run for me.  It's an hour and a half, but well worth a watch/listen.

I've watched the first little bit of this so far... and I have to say that I'm looking forward to watching the rest of it tomorrow at work.

And I'll also add that, to me, "success" has absolutely nothing to do with anything related to this physical reality.

Thanks blaktatt.  :)

I'll post again after I've watched the whole thing.

i watched it it was worth watching  8-)

Here's the first documentary they put out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H70kaRvVeUs

As for this one... I finished watching the whole thing, and I have to say that it was very well done.

blaktatt

Thanks for posting the first one... I'm watching it right now  :-)

Where did theses guys get the info from? It's like the concept is a religus belief since they all seem to agree with everything that is said and 100% true. Haven't seen ryans one yet but I'll watch that one now =D
Firmly understand that there is no joy or sorrow in this world. If you believe worldly objects are a source of happiness, in their absence you will feel sorrow. Accept the fact that there is no true happiness in the world.

I only skimmed it, but what I saw it talking about was that the planet is all of ours to share and it's not right for a person or group to claim ownership of parts and charge others for it. That we should all equally share.

And I know that it sounds good, but when there isn't 100% agreement among people in this type of situation, it's stupidly impossible. Forcing others to share is communism. Don't we have the right to be selfish and not share if we don't want to? If there was a complete agreement, I think people would just do it, not create another system around it. You wouldn't have to talk about it or promote, it would just happen naturally out of compassion and empathy.

That's also what I don't like about the whole zietgiest thingy... it only works if everyone went along with it, and it's naive to think that could happen.

Well, my only pet peeve with the video is that... even in this system we have here in this physical reality, it doesn't (can't) stop you from being able to spirituality grow.  There's not a single thing that anyone can do to stop this from happening.  It's entirely a personal choice to grow spiritually or stagnate.

So, in the end, it's not just "stupid impossible"... it just plainly doesn't matter what is wrong or right with our "economic system" as spiritual growth will happen regardless.  In my opinion, it's in how you interact with your fellow consciousness here... it's how you treat them... it's how you handle the small things... it has nothing to do with anything related to the matter "things" found here.  It's entirely a consciousness to consciousness system.

The one Ryan posted is the best one. The only way things can change is if some type of shift happens and We evolve. That's the only way we and the planet can change cause how many times have we stood up to the goverment and tell them we don't want this anymore? Nothing gets done and we have to move on till another cry out. Sad world but something gotta take place sooner or later so we can just be one

I actually liked the one blaktatt posted better.  It was more along the lines of my spiritual goals.

Hmm well the first one altho I only saw like 30 mins of it was mostly the concept of who we are and why we are here. That's why I said it was like a religion cause they belived in the same thing and shareing it to the world.
We don't truly know unless we reached the "knowing" from within or as other cultures calls it "above". Other then that I found the one you posted better cause it's more down to earth plus they had great wisdom which I have learned new things from.

I like the parts in the first video where they talk about our earth and system being a reflection of ourselves.  I believe that to be true.
I don't believe that the "animals" are part of that system though.  I believe that they are each, their own separate consciousness.

I like the parts where they're referring to how we who experience this reality have possibly changed it accordingly to match whatever it is we want to experience.  Like changing how we need to "consume" food and "sleep" in order to survive.  I can see and feel how that might have an inkling of truth behind it.  I'm not saying I believe it outright, but I can see and understand the possibility of that being how it once was.

As per the video, and with an open mind and heart I've been trying sun-gazing... with my own twist.  If I can change my own paradigms back to "original programming", as they say, I can further change them to however I want them to be.  Doing a bit of research, I don't believe for a second that "staring directly at the sun" is a good thing... staring off to the side a bit is okay, but I believe you can absorb the energy just by facing it... eyes open or closed.  I'm invoking Campbell's paradigm here in that using my Intent and focusing on the sun in any manner I wish to attain the desired goal.

Anyway, my point here is that the video has some good points that I vastly and firmly agree with... stuff that I know, personally as truth.  Then there are other things about it which leave me scratching my head and thinking "wtf are you guys smoking?".  hehe

Although, after all this is said and done... I still maintain that spiritual growth can and will happen in the people who choose to see it and who choose to move towards it.  There isn't much beyond the "self" which can stop spiritual growth entirely.  Living through a crappy system such as what we current exist in, might not be ideal, but it doesn't stop growth from happening.  How do I know this?  Because people ARE growing spiritually even in the midst of this system.

Unlike the video, I don't believe spirituality can be destroyed.  But it does make Spirituality into being a CHOICE.  You can be locked in a 9 - 5 job... and STILL make much progress in your spiritual side.  And if you really think about it, if the goal of this reality is to drop the ego and grow even more spiritually... then this reality is already setup PERFECTLY to do this.  But, it requires a choice to be made... a conscious choice to free yourself from the ego by resisting the urges that our ego has to be fed by this reality.

Ha! Ryan's a sun worshiper! I never would have guessed.

Wouldn't it be better if we move to India where the Hindu's and buddist and Taoist are? That's where the peace is =D unless the media lies about how awsome it is there like they do with the UK >_>
