I came close to separating probably 4 times throughout this morning. 2 of them were at night after I woke from a dream but I couldn't hold the feeling. The last two were in the morning when I woke up. Everytime I thought to myself in my head. "I am just conciousness, I can do this." I felt my body start to separate again. The first time it didn't work. The second time I said that I yet again. I then heard a women scream. Like a death scream in the movies. This was particularly loud and seemed like it was in my room. Very loud... I got my shotgun and actually cleared the house... lol I am laughing about that now. Then I rememberwhat Robert Bruce said it's common to hear noises like that before getting out of body... It was just frightening for a moment. Is this normal?

Very normal.

I've heard lots of strange stuff... from gunshots to huge explosions to knocking on a door... etc

BlueTone

I remember hearing a very loud and prominent voice screaming " NO!. DON'T!. "...

Obviously I listened!!, And it ended the experience, lol. My heart skipped a few beats because of that one. The most difficult part is training yourself to not respond to them as if they're happening around your physical surroundings, which is very difficult to do at the beginning.

No.  It can be from subconscious self-aspects, to brain garbage to amplified real-life noises.  I suppose in there we probably shouldn't rule out other things, like spirits.  But not too often, anyway.

Thank you all... I appreciate it. I will have to start learning to ignore these noises. I have heard them before but then were very faint... This was a murder scream. lol.
