Why do my projections deteriorate when I pass through doors and windows?

Hello everyone! My name is Abby. I've been able to astral project for about a year, but I have the consistent problem of not being able to pass through doors, windows, etc. without the scene distorting. When I am inside the house in which I begin the projection, everything looks perfectly normal. But as soon as I go outside, everything looks different (like a dream, basically) and I soon collapse and lose consciousness. I have heard this phenomenon called "reality fluctuations" by different OBE authors, and I've heard several different theories as to why it occurs. I've tried on the spot affirmations to make the scene return to normal, but they don't seem to work too well. I'm having trouble making it stop, so I would really appreciate some ideas!

Has anyone else had a similar experience, and if you have, how did you manage to overcome it? And if anyone knows what causes this in the first place, I'm a curious person so I'd be interested to know that too. I'm mainly focused on making it stop though.

Thanks in advance!

Greetings Veryala/Abby
Your problem is something that many people also experience when out of body (OOB). I do have trouble going through walls so try to go through a glass (or preferably screen) window when getting outside.
"Reality fluctuations' may not be the problem here. It could be that your consciousness when OOB is extremely sensitive to physical object and so becomes confused and disoriented when passing through door, walls or windows.
My suggestion is to pick a familiar location in advance, someplace that has emotional ties (like a relative's or close friend's house). And next time OOB attempt to project/teleport yourself there. This would skip that troublesome step of having to travel directly through a wall, door or window. Now this may require several attempts but if successful then you will have acquired a very important and advanced OOB skill.

I often had trouble passing thru walls, but found no real problem passing thru windows. But you must understand, this is because you are exiting into your physical spirit-body, which is why you are limited by the natural physics of the reality you just entered. My solution to this problem was by closing my spirit eyes first, then try walking/floating thru the wall. If you can't see anything when you close your eyes, don't worry, just pass thru the wall and keep your eyes closed (don't force your eyes to open, you will probably awaken yourself) instead, just be patient and your vision will fade back in, without having to wait too long. That's the best advice I can give, but I suggest you read my latest post about the two types of bodies you can enter and give that some consideration.

It is just my experience, but closing your spirit eyes in the physical spirit-body does/should engage your 3D body and allow you to pass thru once seemingly concrete objects like walls. I only recently learned this, give it a shot and let me know your success. :)
I see energy, can manipulate it, and meditate to induce OBEs on a fairly regular basis... The experiences are so wild, intimate, connected, confusing, overwhelming, and thought-provolking. I am now: OBSESSED. It is a fact that OBEs are real, but HOW REAL?

I have no problem going through walls and windows. They aren't solid if I don't want them to be. The problem is that once I do go through them, my surroundings change.

Thanks for the suggestion about teleportation - I'll definitely give that a shot. Or several.

I've noticed that in my OBEs, once you leave your room, there are obvious differences from what you'd normally see, and the reality seems to change almost every time. There is always something different looking, whether its the layout of the house, etc. I have also noticed a sort of distortion when I pass thru walls as well. I am interested in how you are passing thru walls, because in my experience, the act of passing thru a wall will automatically put your spirit body in 3D (floating effects)... But when in 3D body, things can get a bit distorted, for sure. I doubt this is uncommon. Teleporting is definitely your best option, passing thru walls takes a lot of energy, as well... might as well stock up on that and just teleport. Good suggestion!

I'm convinced that leaving your 'room' puts you in a whole different dimension so that's why it becomes unreal. I occasionally see what appears to be my neighborhood after I exit the house but very rarely.

After 15 years of having these I've stopped seeing the room when I exit and just fly sideways towards where my window is and then I'm zoomed off to my destination through a black tunnel so don't be surprised if what you see when you exit changes over time. The best advice is fly through your window (easier than walls) as fast as you can since staying near your body will just draw you back in.
