Hello Phanuel,

The materialization of objects out of seemingly "thin air" has been done for thousands of years, though of course the people who can do this are extremely rare. But there are numerous accounts of such people in many countries and from various religions or spiritual paths around the world. Yes some are fakes, and so you shouldn't believe everything you see or read, but they are not all fakes. The methods are real and they do exist. But as with most other metaphysical/occult powers, proper arduous training is usually needed.

Inidia is home to many such men with these type of siddhis and if you wish to read more about some such men, you could read "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda. The book will not teach you how to acquire any such powers, but it does touch upon many metaphysical topics such as the materialization of objects and scents, saints that haven't eaten in 40 years, others that can levitate, Astral traveling, mental control over other people, telepathy, healing severed limbs in a few seconds, bilocation, etc. Aside from these interesting stories, the book is a very spiritually inspiring one; I felt a lot of love and happiness being conveyed from the author's words.

The Holographic Universe is a very interesting book as well. I am about 1/2 way through that one right now and have enjoyed reading it. It is a worthy read for others that haven't heard of it. It takes a scientific approach to the understanding the Universe, metaphysics and consciousness.

Take good care,

Well, I don't believe everything that I read but I think about everything I read.  I guess thats why I was looking for other experiences... especially personal ones.

One of the key secrets to the Holographic Universe theory is the idea that mind/consciousness Can directly influence and affect physical matter. This is an idea that is gaining popularity amoung the scientific community, particularly quantum physicists. It is not necessary to into the scientific details (long calculus equations and complex terms).
Rather it is easier to understand the idea from the Point of View of a Sufi master or an Indian Yogi. These masters use concentration, visualization and mantra (chanting) to focus their mind on the goal of physically transforming matter. A BIG differnece is that they have been taught since an early age that it IS possible to control matter with mind. Whereas most Westerners, especially scientists, have been educated to believe exactly the opposite.
So while it Is possible for the Sufis and Yogis to do what they do it is also harder for them to perform in front of skeptics. That is why so many masters fail to perform under difficult laboratory conditions.

So do the sufis have to know real specifics about the matter they are creating, say molecular structure?  Could they create life as in plant life or insects?

Well I personally don't like scientific approaches to metaphysics. They all lack the spirituality to understand it all.

You see the way I see it is that everything has 3 aspects. I came to this belief after I read the very inspiring article on VeritasOnline.net. Science only covers 2 aspects of the universe - the level of the physical and the level of energy. And the level of energy they hardly have any idea about, yet they still believe they have explained and are explaining EVERYTHING. The 3rd aspect is the level of spirit or soul. It's what we here on the AP forums and many other sites believe in. It's what seperates us from scientists.

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.

I've read the book several times and am happier with the anecdotes than with explanations of where the dissociation patterns and laser lie.

Hopefully this will take you to something I found really interesting on the topic of materialization:

The theory of a Holographic Universe (energy Matrix) will have many Profound effects on science and general society in the long term. Materialization is such an effect. Experiments have already been successfully carried out by teleporting a laser beam a few meters distance. [:(]
Short term effects of the Holographic Universe probably include energy manipulation (like psi balls and chakra cleansing) and psychic healing abilities.

No, this is all done by the subconscious mind. The conscious mind only has to visualise what it is trying to create, know what it is and etc. The specifics are handled by the subconscious, in a similar way to how dreams are made - maybe, in exactly the same way...?

Yes, my link was to a method of matter creation from a dream state.

In the book, "The Holographic Universe," there is a section where the author talks about an Indian, I believe it was Indian, sufi who could create golden rings and sacred ash right, as well as other things, out of his hands.  Has anyone heard of similar stories or can in fact do this?  Are there similar cases of this or is this an isolated story?
