Hello,

I haven't had any OOBE. I had several SPs, mostly are unexpected. I only had one lucid dream, and it was really short - probably just a view seconds.

However, last night, something new happened. I was tired and just want a quick "nap" (I work at home and mostly at night) while keeping the fluorescent light on. I usually tend to think too much all the time but by mind just went blank as soon I crashed to my bed.

You see, My bed is at the corner of the room and I slept facing the wall with my right arm rested on the wall. At first, I was dreaming of a vast amount of water. Then I found myself in it. After a few moments, I started to "move" around below the water. Then I realized, "how am I able to swim? I can't swim!"

Right when I have that thought, I found myself on the bed seeing my own arm. But something was different. There was some kind of thin rainbow-ish light surrounding the arm like a halo - not bright, but very noticeable. My arm looks the same but everything else seemed more brighter. My wall color is light indigo, but it looked more like white. I've never seen anything like this, especially that rainbow-ish light.

Unfortunatly, I only have that view for just a view seconds because I started to get worried in case of someone or something was behind me. My view went blank then quickly went back on, but this time I was awake and I see the same view of my arm and the wall. I quickly turned around to see what's behind me. There was no one, nothing. Just myself and the ringing sound that I could still hear faintly.

So, was that it? Did I finally have OOBE?
If so, what was that rainbow-ish light?
Any thoughts or similar experiences are appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance.

That does sound like an OBE. I've not experienced the rainbow light before but I have had a similar experience where I found myself floating and when I opened my eyes I was staring at the side of my head and can see my hair and my ear. Pretty wild! After that happened I woke up and started my meditation routine and was able to project again.
