Hi!

I just found this site by googling "Astral projection forum" so I guess this is a forum that can teach teach me alot.
I have pracctised lucid dreaming for about 2 and a half year, so I have pracctised meditation and I have no fears, except the fear itself maybe..
I have listened to tons of guided meditation mp3:s, but nothing really made me have a lucid dream or an OBE.
My interest to all this so far considered (paranormal) activities started out when I saw the Matrix.
Since then I have allways loved philosophy and dreams.

The last years I have been active at the Dreamviews forum.

So I have had a couple of lucid dreams, but now I want to have a real out of body experience to discover the physical world and the universe.
Sounds crazy when I say it, but I hope that it's possible. I am going to watch some videos that were posted here like Tony Cambell's Workshop because everything I have seen so far is very hard to understand and they are basically describing lucid dreaming techniques.

I get a sense of that belief is really important in order to succeed with this, and I do believe that it's possible, but how will I differentiate a conscious dream from an obe? Because dreams can be really vivid as well. And all the stuff I have learned about how the brain works to understand why we dream, might make it hard for me to believe that I really had an obe.

And also.. Do I have to believe in chakras and such in order to make this work?

Anyway I hope that this site will make me have my first Out of body experience.

 Hello Choi, all you have to believe in is yourself. All the rest will come into place then! Right now I am using the technique of laying back and saying to myself "Relax, release, let go, I release all my control, take me to your desired destination". Then I am off on my journey. It's really that easy. You just have to get over the fear and all the mind conditioning you have learned that tells you that it can't be real.
