what are some i guess not normal methods used to increase dream vividness and recall?? i ask this cause ive come across two methods that are to me crazy. the use of a nicotine patch then another with the use of a salted bannanna(it said for its pottasium and sodium content)   are there other methods that people use besides "normal" methods(to me normal is such as dream journal valerian chamomile passionflower and other things proven by science research to aid in dreaming weither by helping you sleep or like 5-htp for a rebound)     things that have not been scientifically proven valid but proven by people who try them such as ive heard blue/green alge supplements help

Put a Moldavite under your pillow at night. For me it often worked with vivid dreams as well as with dream recall. Try out other crystals that are supposed to do this, as well. Maybe find what type best resonates with you.

Use a specific Galantamine/Choline supplement (best use in the middle of your sleeping period, after 3-4 hours of sleep or so). Actually it is supposed for lucid dreaming / astral projection, but vividness is also increased if you ask me. There are some suppliers online, some via ebay. E.g. this one here: http://www.lucidrene.com/

Getting up after 3-4 hours and meditating and then "b2bed" again works, too.

ive looked into the crystals im unsure of were to find them. and when i get paid again im planning on using the galantamine and choline with my other supplements(valerian ex passionflower ex huperzine a melotonin and chamomile) but i cant find galantamine were do you get yours??......plus once my recall is back to normal im going to try a WILD but for now no( i started smoking pot again for about 4 weeks lost nearly all recall;/) but i quite just for lding practice....marijuana is amazing love it to death but the thrill of lucid dreaming and the fact it all happens naturally in your own mind is just baffling and awe inspiring..nearly addictive

Blue Cheese, no doubt about it.

Supposedly un-pasteurized and  european is best, I just used the usual stuff. 20 grams of it before bed.

Intense dreams....

Does Gorgonzola count as Blue cheese?

Blue cheese is one of my favorites and i live in Germany.  And if i eat it, 20 gramms are just the beginning  :-D. So i will look out for effects on dreams next days.

But apart from that is the best way to improve the dream quality, to break the sleep phases in at least 2 parts. Sleep 1 till 3 Hours during day and the remaining hours at night.

A additional effect can be get by standing up after first 2 hours night sleep and doing 10 till 20 Minutes some calm activitys like coffee/tea drinking, reading, writing dream diarys or such things. Kind of activitzy is not so important. It is more important to be just enough time awake to have a effective separation of the night sleep phase.

Okay. I checked on how gorgonzola is made and it uses blue cheese starter. So a couple nights ago I tried a little on sliced cucumbers about an hour before bedtime.

I believe I did have above average quality dreaming. I got Lucid and I even started going OBE from the LD state (but lately my LD to OBE conversions have gone strange on me... every few months my psyche does a major change-up on me with OBE/LDs and I need to adjust).

Never heard of that, I'll give it a try. So it's best directly before going to bed? Or after 2-3 h of sleep maybe? I've bought some Bavaria Blue. What's the best way to eat it, some bread and crackers will do? It's said to be pretty salty, yes? Never tried it before that's why I ask.

I love stilton cheese, it's so good. I've never eaten any before bed and noticed any effects that I can remember though.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. Perhaps some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one.

cheese in general is awesome lol i heard dairy period before bed is good. i eat atleast one grilled cheese before bed n a glass of whole milk before bed and even tho im a daily mj smoker i can still recall about one dream per night....(another tip that helps me_they say to awake softly and slowly well i leave my curtain open and blinds open so when the sun rises at around 6 am here i awake very lightly and it helps and getting ready real fast and lay down and take a power nap or just meditate)
