I was a skeptic...

Hi everyone! I'm Sammi..

I'm a pretty skilled and experienced lucid dreamer. Very spiritual, very creative, and a bit of an escapist.. One reason I love my LD's.

I have been in kind of a rut lately in many ways. I haven't a LD in almost a year. Dreaming is a big part of my life. It teaches, helps me cope, and in general just keeps me sane.

I still practice all of my usual methods, my reality checks, etc, but lately nothing seems to help..

This being said.. I've always been somewhat of a skeptic when it comes to OOBE's or AP.. until I had my first experience with sleep paralysis. I have had SP only 3 times in my life, but those experiences, however brief, have brought me here, hungry to learn more and to hopefully and eventually have my first OOBE.

I know that when I was learning to control my dreams and to become lucid, it was such a huge help to discuss it with like-minded people, or even to teach people who don't know about lucidity. I'm hoping that to some extent, that is the case here..

I am pretty well read in LD's, etc, but I am *new* to OOBE's and AP. There are things I know about it since I was raised by two lovely women who, in their day, practiced this sort of thing regularly.

So Hi! Glad to meet you all and hope I get the chance to get to know some of you and share our experiences. :)

Greetings LayerZer0. Welcome to the Pulse.
Experiencing an OBE Is believing in OBEs for most people.
BTW you might read want to read through some of the threads in the "Welcome to the Astral FAQ Forum" to get 'up to speed' on some of the ideas and terms used in the discussions here.

Sincerely  :-)
Grey
