Patience and perseverence. Robert Bruce put everything else you need in NEW, both the chapters in "Astral Dynamics" and the materials on his web site. Really, it is too simple and yet there are no buttons to push or levers to pull. It is a question of how much time and effort you intend to put in it.

The most important key word in any line of work is "Prioritize".  Try to get the important stuff done first.  This wasn't the case with me -.-  But know I know how important it really is. Even if the initial steps seem boring, they are initial, so they must be done FIRST

First off research and find out what is utter bovine excrement and what is reasonable for you to believe. Then theorise and plant your beliefs firmly. Believing makes it easier.

Then practice. Patience and perseverence. You only get out what you put in.

Ki, as you call it, is actually referring to raw life energy, and it increases more if you train your body as well. You're better off finding a martial arts to focus and improve energy in a fun and practical way. But make sure you choose a traditionally taught martial arts, or you'll miss the energetic aspect of it.

If it doesn't work out for you keep trying to find proper ways of learning and buy books and things. Keep practicing and find your own beliefs and ideas. If that still doesn't work move on to a different practice of energy such as psionics or maybe reiki.

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.

would tang soo doo(korean art)work for an art.[}:)]

Tom

If after researching the matter you find that tang soo doo is the best tool for your progress with energy, please do try it. Then, after giving it a fair chance, you can decide if it has served you well and you can report on it for our benefit. You are the first person I have seen here to mention a Korean system. Is it specifically a form of energy work?

flamingsword

no it is an korean martial arts that is mostly self defense but it deals with some chi, i would not of asked but i am already a black belt so i thought that might help.

Tom

Then you can use your energy work to increase the effectiveness of your training with tang soo doo, the way kung fu extends chi kung. The fact that you have an established physical exercise will go a long way to help with your energy work.

Fat_Turkey

Well if you're a black belt in a martial arts that involves energy, why are you masquerading around with your DBZ bovine excrement jing and crap like that?

I find it hard to believe[}:)]
