This is new this week.

A study on systems complexity patterns in the data from the viking-probe Mars-measurements in the 70's suggests to some that bacteria and perhaps slightly higher life are probably present on mars.

Granted this is a pretty far interpretation, since the evidence is not in the form of actually encountering life, but rather encountering data which some now believe is indicative of life, it still seems like a promising development in the search for non-earth-bound life.

I for one think that the first non-terristrial life we actually encounter will either be bacteria-like or in the form of intelligent machines.

My viewpoint on all these new revelations is that they are slowing easing information to the public of things that were known long ago. Possibly in the distant future, some say near future, we are going to find out the real truth. They also say "there are more stars in space than there are grains of sand on every and all beaches on Earth". The possibly that there isn't another intelligent form of life out there is looking more unlikely all the time.  :-)

Another new video posted. It's getting interesting folks. This one was the Yahoo homepage today. http://news.yahoo.com/monolith-object-mars-could-call-214004772.html. The actual picture from Nasa was taken a long time ago.

I remember Buzz Aldrin the early-astronaut dude mentioned this thing in 2009.

I don't quite buy the story that it is squared due to pixelation (look at the shadow, it is exactly what a rectangular-prism-like object would cast), but who the heck knows what it is...

Actually, I always wonder what became of this and why it never got any more attention than it deserved, imho:

And yes ... there is a SECOND mars face!

But who knows, in the end it's all light angles and shadows again. At least that is what NASA always and 'categorically' says:

They're so boring.  :-P

This one is an interesting scientific paper, too:

again: who knows...

And yes, there are a curious number of stories like this in the past couple weeks, even if the the material is not new. Here is another one I saw today about the unidentified objects astronauts often see whizzing by:

I don't think there is an agenda here, but it is easy to see why one would think that.

I've been doing some recent research for a "time capsule" of events pertaining to this conversation.
The first is a Mike Wallace interview from 1958 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mtBrUVBehvQ#%21. This is a 3 part interview
The second one is from 2007, but the stories date back to Gordon Coopers earlier events preceding his Space Mission, it also has some other interesting tid bits in it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T87tdVUtLV4&feature=related
The 3rd is from 2010 and is named "Disclosure' it's already happening" and has a number of facts and quotes in it. Dr. Michio Kaku speaks in this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kse2Lh6O6Co&feature=related
The 4th is another quick video by Michio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUzshCohtbw&NR=1&feature=endscreen
I wonder what's next for this year!

I don't really buy into the disclosure thing per se, but even the disclosure advocates admit disclosure is not necessarily positive. Plenty of them say governments and militaries might perform a partial disclosure to build enough fear of extraterrestrials to allow them to build terrible new weapons systems.

But who really knows, really.

As long as greed and the need to control are still running rampant, "Disclosure" will not occur. For Disclosure would rid of us both of them!  :-)

I'm only posting to keep an eye on this thread, I like the collection idea.

Another one that is sort of hard to comment on... if you watch the video, you see lots of those flashing lines and dashes floating around the soho images- it is possible to me that whatever those dash-like artifacts are might have just been positioned in front of the object in the bottom left at the right moment to make it look like a probe with arms. It only appeared in the one frame, afterall.

But like all of this, who knows

Here's the header of this new article found "New Planet Found in Our Solar System?"
The article can be found here: It's posing a lot of questions!

Haha... that argument leaves lots of possibilities open as to where and how large the object is. I bet the Niburu people are eating that up, lol.

I didn't want to say the name Niburu, because of all the fear it has caused. But here's a question I'd be curious to know the answer to. How far does a planet let's say Niburu, for names sake, have to penetrate our Solar System before it would start wreaking havoc in it? Would just entering our Solar System cause chaos or does it have to have an effect on the sun first?

Um, wow.
Looks like Stillwater is a mod, so I'm not going to say anything.

Stillwater

Lol, you should speak your mind, offending me is not an issue.

The only dude I have modded for speaking his mind was a raging pedofile who wanted to recruit others to his cause.

I like my ideas refuted, go for it !

I would want to guess that no unknown as large as Niburu is told to be actually orbits as far into our solar system as neptune; it would leave permenant disturbances in the orbits of the planets that would declare its existence a necessity. If Niburu exists, it must either be  covered up, or orbits far out in the comet belt and stays there. I am not of the camp of the former.

In order for the "pole shift" hypothesis to be true, again my guess would be the said object would need to be closer than Jupiter.

The name Zecharia Sitchin has been raised again, he passed away in Oct 210. He wrote a couple of books on the Annunaki and Niburu through what he had supposedly learned from reading some Cuneiform Tablets. He actually talked about a new planet scenario that is very close to what is being spoken of here.
Here is a link to a video bring up the idea that Zecharia might have right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJbLVtqacLc&feature=player_embedded#!
Here is another link to add to this. This one is about scientists finding "floating planets". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA8F1HWuoUo&feature=player_embedded#!

Sitchen has been fairly widely refuted on the basis that the his writings took Mesopotamian translations as his primary guidance, and yet he was shown to have poor-to-no proficiency in any Mesopotamian language by later investigators. He was literally seeing whatever he wanted in the cuineform, some have said.
