Sup guys. My names Adam,im 15 and I live in KY. I came to this site from Mytelekinesis.com. They have good mentoring on that site for Psionics and ESP and thats were I started learing astral projecion. Ive only tried it for about 5 days now and Im getting pretty good results! The ability to separate the consciousness from the physical body and go into an OBE or astral Projection IS a psychic ability. So if you are experienced with psionics then it should be relatively easy to induce an OBE. My advice is to read through some written material (in the "Welcome to Astral FAQ" Forum here), select an induction method and stay with it awhile. Be patient and success should happen soon!
