Circulation being cut off while phasing?

I notice that when I abort a meditation or a phase the circulation in my limbs can be completely cut off. :? Is this normal, or is this something that shouldn't be happening? Mostly my arms do this. There is no reason for blood to be cut off to that part of my body because I am not laying on them or anything. Just laying down arms to my side. Does anybody know what causes this? I try and relax my body to the point of where I just completely let go of everything. Upon moving my body again my whole arm has fallen asleep. Sometimes I can feel it while I am laying completely still as well. (Even though I try and forget about my physical body)

Edit: I apologize if this is in the wrong part of the forum. Just realized where I posted this.

Hi AstralCody, your circulation is not being cut off, it just feels that way. When you lay dormant for an hour at a time, your body goes into a shut down mode. This could feel like your circulation is being shut off, but if you stand up and stretch you will find it immediately returns back to normal.  :-)

Thanks Lionheart!

I notice my arm did tingle though for about 10 seconds upon moving again, but 10 seconds is all it really lasts. Good to know I am not cutting off my circulation though.  :-) When I start to feel that I wonder if I am getting close to sleep paralysis?

Hi,
You may want to think about what you've said.
No apparent circulation and paralysis.
Maybe you're already witnessing it. It adds up in my book.
Less analysis and more passivity with your experiences and ypu can answer the question before you need to ask.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

It's the same process which your body has undergone every single time you have "fallen asleep"... the only difference is that now you're becoming consciously aware of the process as it's happening.  :)

Hey thanks for the reply Szaxx and Xanth! I guess it just is a different kind of paralysis. I am still able to move my body if I so desire. When I get sleep paralysis I am unable to move, and it scared me half to death as a little kid. Now that I know what it is I love the feeling.
