I think you guys are confusing words and concepts.

Are you actually "seeing"?   Seeing like you see in this physical reality, or in a projection?   Cause that's not visualization.  That's clairvoyance or remote viewing of sorts.
Or are you seeing,  as in how you see a memory when you remember it?   That's more akin to visualize and it's not visual at all.  It's perceiving an experience.

I think there's a simple misunderstanding of definitions going on here.
Robert Bruce really does cover it perfectly in that single Page I linked above.   Give the whole Page a read, the see how it lines up.

It's this perpetualization of this seeing thing which is exactly why so many people end up confused about visualization.
im seeing like im there but its not full like you would see when dreaming or obeing. its part blackness and part image

Hi,
Cook that scene for another few seconds with intent on high and it fills your vision. Apply movement to the scenery and join in.
Your now in the NPR you've just created.
Simples!
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Xanth - When you try to think about what someone looks like, do you not see them in your mind? Or is it just words and concepts that come up to describe them? That's something I can't wrap my head around, as I get an image of the person. If I want to think about what their hair looks like, I imagine it and see it. Is this really that far out-there?

some times i think about movent like climbing a rope method  and i see a person climbing with out a rope. in a scene

Hi,
You may need to create a scene BEFORE you start. When proficient your scene will appear. The above where you saw someone climbing, if you started with this at the beginning and intended it would be you climbing the rope, the chances of being that climber would increase many magnitudes.
Intent is very powerful and a really useful tool, it may be the best tool of all. Plan an exit routine that suits YOU, then start phasing with this plan of action clearly embedded in your memory of how it will happen.
This will give results.
I'm sure others will agree.

Well... "see" as in how I'm physically seeing right now?  Nope.
"See" as in a perceive them... I can perceive exactly what they look like right down to what they're wearing.
Like, if I want to think about what their hair looks like, I imagine it and "see" it too.  But not SEE see... I perceive it like I would recalling a memory.

I think we're using "see" and "perceive" in the same manner.
I think it's quite possibly we're talking about the same thing here, just with very different ideas about how to describe what "it" is.  LOL

it worked better last night  i was seeing a waterfall scene, i was looking at it and it expanded the water was getting faster then i used the rope method, and a figure was climbing up to the sky and then the scene  started moving like a rope, dose side to side. but then the scene faded.
