Seeing yourself in your dream, being both

This struck me as weird, mostly because of the sensation that was created.

I was enjoying my dream as usual. I'm usually aware that I'm dreaming, though I don't make an extra effort to manipulate things. I just enjoy the ride. The content isn't really the point, I was just walking around my old neighborhood from my childhood and random stuff was happening. I am a female, but myself in the dream was male. Same age and everything and I really didn't look much different. I just knew I was male. I've been a male version of myself before so I really didn't think much of it. Then I was suddenly my female self... also there in the dream. So I had two consciousnesses at once. Now that was weird. I was in complete control of male me and female me, but separately. We just kind of stared at each other thinking individually that it was pretty weird.

My consciousness has been split in dreams before. Sometimes 1st person and 3rd person at the same time or me observing myself from a different level of consciousness while a more physical form of myself was unaware of my higher consciousness. But two first persons at once? That was a bit much! Anyone else have this happen before? I apologize if I sound confusing.

I think that is really amazing. You have seen yourself in male avatar in the dream.

That was a very interesting read! I am a bit unfamiliar with games or trials or looking at unusual occurrences as tests before. When you encountered it, did you shift between the three view points or were you simultaneously completely in control of all three? It sounds confusing! Two points of view were more than a head full. But at the same time it was just plain weird. As if you were walking around outside and the sky suddenly turned green. It doesn't make life any more difficult, it's just plain strange.

Now I have had dreams before where there is some sort of trial. I have been lucid and being a participant. I always pictured them more as entertainment though.

I love your quote "stepping out isnt an option. You'd miss all the fun. Lol"

Dreams full of action are the best! And sometimes the scary ones are the most fun.

Hi,
The perspectives were seperate as was the initial control. Towards the end when the third person perspective came in I watched in third and moved either of the others with a view relevant to the one moved at that instant. Still missed the trapdoor behind though lol.
