very helpful indeed.  

I started reading the document and wondered if anyone might be able to help with a few questions.

1) "Affirmation    focuses your intention and attention. You may use the words as spoken in the exercise, modify them to maximize personal relevance and significance, or substitute your own version. Experiment. Make it yours."


May I ask what are the "words as spoken in the exercise" are?  I'm curious to know so that I have some sort of guide with constructing the Affirmation.

2) "Focus 10 is a level in which your mind remains awake and alert while your body sleeps calmly and comfortably. Follow the instructions, focusing upon and then totally releasing each body part. Your body knows how to do this and to "look with your closed eyes" as you move towards profound relaxation."

I just want to be completely sure on the details of Focus 10 here - I've assumed for a long time that it's a very relaxed/trance state.  The body is "asleep" but you can, for example, quickly determine discomfort, correct it and then drop back into Focus 10.  
Would anyone who's had experience with the Gateway tapes/cds and phasing be able to confirm this?  If not then I'm doing something wrong.

3) Can anyone expand on what the "Health Affirmation" is?  Is it something you perhaps declare when listening to the tapes or is it an exercise that you just listen to.

4) "Resonant Energy Balloon (REBAL) is a valuable tool to create a high energy state within and around you. Your REBAL acts as a magnet, attracting influences you desire and shielding you from undesired energy. The more you build your REBAL, the better you sustain higher energy levels. Your REBAL may spontaneously change form, develop a delicate membrane, or become radiant like an intensified aura. Although you may not always perceive your REBAL, play with sensing it through feelings, and/or muscle sensations, and/or visually. Build and rebuild it, storing the energy as in a charged battery.
You can turn it on and use it while in C-1 or in any other state much as you would turn on a light. Use one resonant energy breath as the switch. Inhale vibrant energy and, as you hold it, think of a bright moving circle with the number 10 inside it. Let the circle surround you as you exhale. Experiment with "popping" your REBAL while In a group of people and see if its resonance attracts people who are in harmony with it. Try extending it around your car to note if you negotiate traffic or find parking more easily."

I'm sorry to paste the entire REBAL section for those that have read the document but the discovery of REBAL is important to me.  In short, a while back I had a guide come to me and she took me on an amazing journey through specific places in the Astral.  She placed a certain importance  on one place she called ?Nebulous? and said that I could get there any time using this... and she showed me what looked like something between a weather balloon and a hot-air balloon.  I investigated the word ?nebulous? but didn?t turn anything up.  So you can imagine my curiosity with REBAL - can anyone expand on the REBAL process outlined in the above quote and/or tell me a little about any useful experiences with the REBAL process/tool?  I haven?t looked up REBAL on this site yet but I will do so.

I suggest that you read this in conjunction with Frank's excellent and extensively read post on "Gateway Wave 2 Pointers" in this forum. It is the first message in that topic.

The only additiona thing required inthe context of the Gateway approach is the hemi-sync, and we have a reproduction of that available as BWGEN presets in the file library - less of course Robert Monroe's voice:

As a small hint when it comes to Hemi-Sync "tapes":
They are spread all over the net as ".mp3". I find them by using a download-client called Kazaa(download it at www.kazaa.com). This program is easy to use, as you search for "hemi-sync" and all "tapes" are shown. Download what you want for free. This is not illegal, as long as you use them for own practise only.

Thanks Adrian - I'll check out the url.  I've also been churning through all the sticky posts here.  The Gateway Thread I was going to leave to last as it's the longest:) but I'll make that the next on my list to read.  Thanks again, very helpful stuff.

Truthseeker - thanks for the tip!  I can't get Kazaar on my mac however.

To anyone that may be able to help further with the questions above, I've got Focus 10 (question two) clear in my mind now thanks to Frank's more recent post in the Gateway sticky thread.

Is there a way to search for these mp3 files without needing this kazaa program?  I tried to download it but wasn't able to; it downloads a file called kmd.exe, when I run this it just tries to download another file called kmd210_en.exe and this doesn't work as it just complains the web site can't be found.

Also, do any of the hemi-sync mp3 files found by this software cover the focus levels above 21, in other words the material that lets you go beyond the gateway cds?

Kazaa is a propritory "software sharing" system  - one of several that appeared in the wake of Napster. All of the software that is being shared is stored on the hard disks of other Kazaa users, and is accordingly unavailable by any other means.

I am not taking any particular standpoint on this, moral or otherwise, but it has to be pointed out that the entire system is about blatent software and media piracy for the most part - one of the reasons Napster met it's fate.

Yes I can understand that this could be a bit dodgy and might be best not to get involved in too much.  I've just completed the Gateway cd course and was just wanting to find out if there's any stuff around to help go beyond Focus 21 as I would be very much intrigued to discover levels like Focus 27 and thus be able to see for myself if the writings of Robert Monroe etc are true.  The Monroe institute doesn't seem to cover any of these focus levels in any of the cds it sells.

Hi Brian,

the Going Home Subject tapes cover levels up to focus 27. In fact they are mainly about focus 27. I bought them 4 weeks ago together with a friend. Not that cheap, but worth the money. They are the late work of Monroe himself, together with Charles Tart and Elisabeth Kubler-Ross.

Yes, the description of this looks like it might cover Focus 27. I've probably missed that one because it looks like it's only available on tape and I've no longer any easy way to play this, I've changed almost completely to cds, mini disks or mp3 players so maybe I'll wait a while to see if it becomes available on disk first.

I doubt it will apear on CD in the near future. After all its their crown juwel, and they want to prevent it from easy copying. Anyway Ive put it on CD for more convenient use.
