Perhaps 90% of the human population asks this question: What happens when we die?, there are many answers to this question, but what if the question itself is wrong, what if the question is not "what happens when we die?" but is "Do we truly die?".
There is another question where most humans do not even comprehend the answer, because they have been taught not to: What is Death?
What is Death? is death the final victor? Death is not the final victor, Death itself is all but a simple illusion, as hard as it is to believe, it may very well be the truth, death is without reason, and does not exist, it is all but a concept made by man. "We immerse ourselves in a meaningless struggle against death.", "You cannot die, you are beings of infinite perfection, and yet you continue to hide this knowledge from yourselves". -spirit Saul.
"You are so much attached to your corporeal form, the physical body, that you have forgotten who and what you are, you fear that which does not even exist, you do that because someone told you to, whether it was consciously or subconsciously, your corporeal forms may perish one day, but even the very process of aging is at your command, only that you know not of it, how would you react if I would tell you that you are giving yourself the permission to die? How would you react if I would tell you that you can stop the aging process as you see fit and command your body to never age nor perish until you decide that it is time to start aging again?"
"Life only brings more life. Death only brings more death. Physical life and death cannot exist together, they will eventually self-destruct, yet life always endures."

What do you believe of this?

Death is very evident to those around the person who died. from the POV from the person who died then this question is relevant. If someone you loved... who was very close to you suddenly died.. .you would realise how real death is.

Death is a very good lesson for our individual growth. It allows us to experience absolute loss at its most purest.

Death is change.

Doesn't make it hurt less, though. Even if you believe it is only a change.

Death is merely another form of transformation, we die alot during ourlives, or atleast most people do

I totally agree with you Bedeekin...

So why aren't there any person who lived through 150 years limit then?>

Bedeekin

I don't get the question. Because our bodies start to degrade at a certain age?

Yes, but the original post implies that there is a possibility for humans to control aging process, hence why arent there anyone doing this?

Well, from this text "We immerse ourselves in a meaningless struggle against death.", "You cannot die, you are beings of infinite perfection, and yet you continue to hide this knowledge from yourselves" I understand that we immerse ourselves in a meaningless struggle against death because we are not beings that die, simply put we live forever, our mortal form will end if we as soul or spirit choose this (someone said that we give ourselves and our higher selves the permission for our body to die unknowingly, or will sustain itself young or simply just won't die if we truly, unquestionably choose this), but still it remains a mortal body, therefore it will once die, death is a concept made by mortal man, for he will die eventually, what the mortal man does not comprehend is that he is not mortal, but a being who is eternal, he does not understand that because he is too attached to his corporeal form, the physical, mortal body.

Dyings not a problem, learning to live is the more difficult puzzle.

There is no difference between life and death. Just a shift in conciuiness. I don't want to die yet, I har too much to do here. But when it comes it will be an exciting adventure !

Mr.Flip

Um im not sure bout u but isnt it kinda nice that we pass away??  :-o

As a matter of fact, I was thinking about aging ALOT, I mean how do we age? Just one morning you wake up and realize you look older or the process is so seemless that you dont even notice?

when i read this post it immidiately got my attention cause about five years ago I decided to conduct a mental expereiment.
Archangel Ady sais that we give ourselves permission to die. I agree with that aging process is controlled unconsciously.
I don't know why but this ring VERY true to me. Feels right on the gut level.
So my plan is to live to 100 years and look exactly as I look now (Im 25).
People told me before I was looking young for my age. I decided to focus on my image, or better said WHAT IT FEELS LIKE BEING MYSELF AT THIS AGE and preserve this vibration (feeling) as go along. I thought that was kindfa interesting

Im 41 and get accused of being 27!!!!! Erm should have gone to spec savers springs to mind lol

The sadness meeting the death of someone close, even though you know its imminent can't be expressed in words to those who reside totally in the physical. Though we know the passing is change and the probability of continuance of conciousness goes unhindered, their feelings still influence us. Its bad enough for a complete stranger coming close by whos lost someone, filling your mind with their feelings, the worst part is what can you say. This is one of those things best left alone. Its far worse when its your sister. Again you still say nothing. Its a dilemma.
Life carries on and one day those who did listen, smile. By then you've passed on too.
Its a happy sad irony.
Time is short and the older you get the quicker it passes by.
Again irony.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

BAM! on the money

yeah ive had those moments, they used to get me stuck, but honestly the best thing you can do is just hear and acknowledge, sympathy is too cheap at times,

i remember i was at a gas station buying some gas and there was an older man buying cigarettes he was drunk making small talk and little quick jokes at the register that ppl didnt really seem to care about, me being a talkative guy i would respond to his good humor, turns out we get a conversation going as we head outside and continue to do so, discussing how chicago would soon turn into a ghost town with all the regulation and such, then outta nowhere he told me that he just buried his 30 year old son that same day and actually thats where him and his wife were coming from. =/ i didnt know what to say and he states no sympathy plz, because in his eyes u could tell he didnt want to remember the sorrow just the reward of being able to know his son and to share theyre lives together =)

I had this belief since very youth, that I am immortal, I will not ever die, I once understood the concept of death, but as time passed my belief in immortal existence grew stronger and stronger, I no longer understand the very concept of death, perhaps because it is wrong.

Mr.Flip

immorality ay, not trying to sound pessimistic but silence is powerful and feels peaceful,

we are just afraid of the manner in which we die, i dont want to get shot or etc.
