hello! I currently share my bed with my 3 month old (who snuggles up right beside me) and my husband on the other side if her. we plan on bed sharing so she will be with us until she decides to move out :)
I avidly try to project every chance I have. I usually get to full vibration stage, and to the point where I can't feel my physical body anymore and am working on exiting.. then my daughter usually moves or starts fussing. I would then wake up to check on her the to back to vibrating. This would happen a few times. I am now noticing whenever I get close to exiting, she seems to fuss... is she sensing me leaving? anyone else experience this? does anyone know of any tricks or tips on how to sneak out or.. I guess I'm trying to find out if this has happened to others and what you do about it.

If you bed share.. how do you project? do your kids wake you up? your spouse?

please no comments on the safety of bed sharing -_- this is not the place for that.

Its one of those things that have a strong bonding effect. Its a typical event in my household when one of the grandchildren are ill. The comfort helps them get better.
Attempting to project in this situation is obviously more of a challenge, its not impossible.
The disturbance you are receiving may be a simple timing problem which you can alter by a short meditation exercise prior to starting an attempt.
If you have tried many methods then her sensitivity to your attempts will continue.
The young are very sensitive naturally.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

I have had more than 10 exits with my cat cuddling with me. 8-)

I sleep next to my fiance.  I don't actively seek to project anymore, but it still spontaneously happens on occasion.  All I can say is either get used to having interruptions, because they *WILL* happen, or practice during a time when you can be alone.  :)

There isn't much you can do besides just being accepting of whatever happens.

It feels like recently whenever I start feeling close... GLOMP, I am being latched onto by my hubby. hehe, I really can't blame him. Though he crosses the line when he leans over to directly hit me with a fart. GRRR!
Take to the sky, feeling so alive! Past the clouds to the Milky Way, share our secrets with the starry brigade. The stars surround us like a million fireflies. For once I see infinity... it's in your eyes.

Hahahaha!!!  :-D

Kathryn snores sometimes... but I can shut it out. once the SP hits me, my hearing goes anyway.

I sleep with my three year old and have the same difficulty. If I wake up in the middle of the night and attempt to project then it isn't such a problem (though this is hard for me since I'm so exhausted). If I wake up a little earlier then him in the morning I will lay beside him and try to be still and meditate to project. It's like he senses I am awake even though I am still and quite because he starts tossing and turning and I usually give in and go back to sleep so he doesn't get up. I have actually found the biggest barrier in APing for me is my son. I don't think it's impossible to AP because of him but it sure does make it difficult. However, I think it will be a lot easier for you when your baby is a little bit older. At three months they are still fussing in the middle of the night. Just be patient. Keep trying what you are doing and I am sure with practice It will be easier for you to relax even if your child is moving around.
