 Hi all,
Back in March I had an intense sleeping experience that was unlike any dream or nightmare. It started off as an anxiety dream, where I couldn't get my ferrets back in their cages and they were multiplying. Then I thought I heard ghostly noises so I was running to each end of my apartment to hide.
Suddenly I was in my bed. I was laying on my stomach and talking to a woman, probably in her 30s, who was laying across/on top of my headboard. It was sunrise so I could see enough of a glow-y blue filling my room and to make her out pretty clearly. I asked her if my apartment was haunted and she said, "Oh yeah. When my sister used to live here she couldn't stand the hauntings..." I then started to cry out of stress/fear because I love where I live. I suddenly felt as drained and exhausted as I possibly could be. I asked her if I could have a break from all of this. She replied, "Sure. You have five minutes." Just as she snapped her fingers I woke up with a gasp. I was on my back and in a cold sweat. The room was as very dark and I think it was about 3am.
I heard that a key factor in astral projecting is that these events happen in real time. I was talking to this "ghost" a few hours earlier than the time I was dreaming/projecting/what have you.
What do you guys think I experienced?  :?

not an expert but it sounds like a lucid dream.

Well you didn't talk to a ghost... and your apartment probably isn't haunted... so if you want to take that advice on board that should make you worry less... unless you want to worry and need to believe there was a ghost talking to you and that your apartment is haunted.

It sounds like you had a very vivid dream... 'dream' meaning a subconscious narrative based experience of the nonphysical.

Very confusing dream or whatever. Unable to recognize that it was a dream or you astral project.
