Hi!

Im new on this site and I have couple of questions. I been using indirect techniques and (sleep 6 hours and then try obe) and I can enter quite easily
lucid dream by watching images( technique.) Last time again ,I entered full lucidity(it was very nice) and I decided to try full OBE by returning my body.

So i began think my physically body...vibration came and loud rushing noises but I cant separate my body...I feel like my body separates but I cant see anything and when I try see, my physical eyes open and Im backin my body and bed?????...and second...I still little scare what will be happen and is there something waiting for me.

and yes, dont tell lucid dream and obe are exactly the same thing..its not.
I been "out" a couple of times naturally but those happened by no reason and were very short obes but i know what is feels like.

Lucid Dream and OOBE are not exactly the same... in the same way that the way you feel first thing in the morning isn't exactly how you feel at lunchtime... or that scuba diving isn't the same as snorkel diving. In both cases you are still YOU and you are still in the same SITUATION.

Please don't ask for help as a new inexperienced beginner and then tell us what you don't want to be told... it's rather counter productive.

Spontaneous OOBEs can be very different from deliberate ones.

First read this...

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_out_of_body_experiences/sleep_paralysis_the_whats_whys_and_wherefores-t38734.0.html

This is what you were experiencing when you had your vibrations.

Any fear of separation in any way translates to your subconscious as "don't invest in a separation of consciousness.. danger ahead... danger ahead".

The fear response in us has kept us alive for 2 million years.. the last thing your consciousness is ready to do is bi-locate to another reality when you perceive any threat or danger. It's common sense. So what you need to do is not be afraid.

In the words of F. D. Roosevelt, "we have nothing to fear but fear itself".

Another small error you made was opening your eyes. Sleep Paralysis is a conscious awareness of what your body does when you enter dream sleep... or REM sleep. REM stands for 'Rapid Eye Movement'... in this state your eyes are able to move and so are your eyelids unfortunately. As soon as you open your physical eyes... you will halt all physical disassociation and instead will instantly relocate to your physical self.

If you feel yourself floating off don't be impatient and open your eyes. Your vision will 'switch on'... or come into being.. however you want to term it.

Practice Practice Practice. It's all down to practice and diligent patience. You can't rush this process. :)

Thanks, I should just calm my self and wait for vision to "open"

SP have been  part of my life since childhood and I think it is burden... but  when getting older ,it wont happen so often anymore.

Actually ,I lost my believing about this topic (astral, obe ect) for many years but this summer something happened..I believe I was out of my body, just little moment but enough to me start wondering again...maybe there is something...and now I have good situtation in my life ,so I can make my experiments in night time/early in morning.

I suprised that I can quite easily enter lucid dream(after 5-6 h sleep) and I have learned more in 1,5 months that many ears before!

I hope "full" OBE is just behind corner to me ....I`m close :)

I'll take a stab at this one. ;)

I'll start with this quote first.

Honestly, vox, I'm glad you've had a couple of experiences, but do you think you can judge what's going on from only a COUPLE experiences?
You have at your disposal on this forum people who have had dozens, hundreds, even thousands of experiences... and you're going to write off all their opinions simply because you don't want to hear it?  You're not starting from a very open minded position, are you?  ;)

You (as everyone else should do) need to empty your cup first, before you attempt to learn anything more about astral projection.  I'm finding it to be, almost a required step in learning about the non-physical.  Why?  Because people have too many preconceived beliefs stuck in their head regarding this subject... and those beliefs only serve to do one thing: get entirely in the way.

Now, I'm going to continue the rest of my post telling you what I've learned and discovered regarding your questions based around my direct experiences with the non-physical.  Choose to read it or not, I won't lose any sleep over it.  ;)

What I suggest first, is worry about simply having experiences... don't judge them, don't analyze them, just write them down and enjoy them.  Wait until you've got *MANY* experiences under your belt, THEN you can go back to begin the analyzing.  However, when you do, forget about everything you think you believe about projections and base your opinions upon what YOU have experienced.  Then your opinions won't be based upon beliefs, they'll be based upon personal truths.

"Full lucidity", meaning that you were completely lucid of who you were and what you were doing while non-physical?  Is this what you mean by full lucidity?  If it is, then that *IS* a full obe... as I've said before, this is where a lot of people get really confused and try to over complicate experiences.

You were already projecting, so attempting to "obe" from a projection experience is adding another belief layer to something you're already doing!  There's no need to "return to your body", because you've already projected to the non-physical.

QuoteSo i began think my physically body...vibration came and loud rushing noises but I cant separate my body...I feel like my body separates but I cant see anything and when I try see, my physical eyes open and Im backin my body and bed?????...and second...I still little scare what will be happen and is there something waiting for me.
The fear is something you'll get a hang of eventually.  It really sounds like you're doing much better than you give yourself credit for.

You've already got a good hang of having projections.  I suggest losing the many different labels... THAT is what's holding you back.  You're ignoring perfectly good projections because they don't match up to what you BELIEVE a projection to be.  Everyone does this... Hell, I did it for a very long time before I started the make sense of everything I was experiencing.

Sorry, I didnt mean to be someone who knows a lot about LD&obe  but based on my very narrow and light experiences I believe LD are "weaker" OBEĀ“s  and
OBE when entered via separation process are much more intense experience and you be more "present" in that non.physical reality.
And..there is never fear when entered LD....I dont know why??

But maybe there is techniques how deepen LD to be even more intense,  I tried to deepen LD  but I didnt manage to do it.

But like I said, Im just beginner who trying find out and learn :)I dont want step on no ones toes :)

There are!   :-)

Actually, to turn a lucid awareness experience into an astral experience what you need to do is bring more of *you* into the experience.

These posts on my blog should explain what I mean a bit better:
