I am collecting testimonials for possible inclusion in my new book called Evolution 2.
I would like to hear from anyone who has had a near death experience or an experience of a bizarre event that underlines the existence of the spirit world.

To do so you can reach me at this email address: evolution.hathaway@gmail.com or simply reply directly within the forum.

Thank you very much,

David

While I certainly understand where you are coming from, you can have your own experience and find that bizarre is not an applicable adjective.

You may find that OOBE's are so common that there is nothing at all unusual about them. In spite of that, I lack the vocabulary to accurately describe the amazement and wealth of understanding that awaits should you take a further interest and personally see for yourself. :-D

The book sounds interesting.
What will be the generality?
Proof of evolution or similar?
Will it be written skeptically from the third person perspective?
A few basic questions will give more feedback.
You can use the search engine too with specific words to find someone to speak to who fits the required parameters for your book.

There have already been written many books on the n.d.e.  .  Ebay lists 261 and Amazon 31,217  http://www.ebay.com/sch/Books-/267/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=near+death+experience&_nkwusc=near+death+experence&_rdc=1      http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_11?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=near+death+experiences&sprefix=near+death+%2Caps%2C453&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3Anear+death+experiences          A few months ago there was a discussion hear on a doctor that was writing a book on his research .  I can post links to other a.p. , o.b.e. forums , if asked .

It's hard to say for sure but based on his short synopsis, I think he may be a believer and treat the subject with respect.

Well... it's either David Hathaway, who wrote an amazing book called 'Bad Astronomy' and is actually someone I would love to chat to about my experiences. He is a no nonsense scientific skeptic and NASA physicist.

Or

It's David Hathaway who is the polar opposite and is a Welsh evangelical christian.

Or

He is neither.

I found several David Hathaway's an m.d. , a bankruptcy lawyer , and these two http://www.davidghathaway.org/  http://climaterealists.com/?id=10877   This could also be a "pen name " not the real name of the o.p. of this thread .           desert rat

You mean the same book by the phase? http://research.obe4u.com/theory-of-conscious-evolution-2-0/
*sigh*

I think we should work towards banning all OBE4U writings from this forum.  ROFL

hmmmm. Let us see. might be a complete fluke.. and... it's already been written. Surely it'd be called Evolution 3?

I still hope it's the NASA astronomer although, there is absolutely no reason for it to be him.

There are at least 130 David Hathaway's on face book 24 guys with the same name as me . Its interesting that the o.p.  of this thread has not made follow up comments .  desert rat

Bedeekin

They only posted it yesterday!! haha

Respectfully David, studying the phenomena of spiritualism and meeting its exponents might help your cause. I wish you well with your book.  :-)

I am ready to put the o.p. of this thread in my post and split bin .  For a guy to make a post on the n.d.e. on a forum and not make follow up posts .   Raymond Moody has written some books on it http://www.near-death.com/experiences/experts03.html http://www.lifeafterlife.com/    DickSutphen( wisdom erases karma)         and many others have regressed people back in to past lives http://richardsutphen.com/       I have joined a few forums where I did not quite fit in , but if I made a post I would see if any one  posted any  comments and make follow up posts if they did.  desert rat

What if he has posted this message as a copy/paste to all the AP, NDE, and paranormal forums around the world.

We are assuming a lot... and also assuming we are the most important forum out there. He may be leaving this on many sites and returning to it when he gets around to it to collate the information. That's what I would do if I was writing a book. I'm sure he'll get one hell of a surprise when he does read this and be slightly bemused at the total display of suspicious paranoia and lack of interest from our members.

Sorry... but this is like a kicked hornets nest and slightly saddens me.

What a truly dismal point you've made. But it can't really be that sad because I'm laughing now. :-D

I've asked sensible questions.
Im looking for answers, the info can easily be twisted by copy and paste.
Tom C. gives lectures and invites questions, a true professional.
Im still waiting...

You have Szaxx.

But it was still only yesterday.

Apart from the fact that he could probably search this site for the information he seeks.. what could any of us say that isn't available without any infringement of copy write in the first place and that couldn't be copied and pasted at will?

It's for this reason I don't really discuss my own experiences on here apart from the odd interesting one as an anecdote.

My opinion is there's too many compilers of books, not enough people that experience things and find something new. Not saying the OP is one, but the best books are filled with your own insights and knowledge. I've got a few hundred occult books and it got to the point if I learned 1 new thing it would be worth the purchase. Too much recycled information, again not saying that about the gentleman here, just in general.

Some people devour every word of them to find comfort in the existence of an afterlife. And where fear lies, there is much money to be made.

I'm a capitalist so this is a good thing in my opinion.

What isn't good and I detest it as such is when they do nothing to dispel the fear. We will always find something to worry about or to be scared of so acknowledging that fear is only natural.

The irony is that if we could definitively prove there wasn't an afterlife and that a box is the only thing waiting for us, many would surely worry more about this even though they had no control over it.
