I believe that all dreams are our interpretation of projections. And last night I had a particularly interesting one.

Before bed I said "I will project, and I will remember it", just as a simple affirmation, and then went to sleep.
My dream was odd, and scary at first. Myself and two children (siblings) seemed to have been kidnapped by two men in trucks. The children were young, a boy of about 5 and a girl of about 7 or 8. The kidnappers didn't seem aware of me, the children however were. I was in the truck with the boy, which was following the truck in which they had the girl. The two kidnappers were under the influence of what seemed to be some intense narcotics. Their driving was bad, and so when a pile up occurred on the highway we were on the truck smashed into the already crashed car ahead.

The crash was jarring, and I did my best to hold onto the young boy. I seemed to be more anchored to the spot than the physical things around me. I kept him in his seat, but the driver of the truck flew forwards. His seat-belt prevented him from coming out of the windshield, but his head smacked against it so hard the glass cracked. I assumed he was dead and didn't care to check. The boy was okay, miraculously, and we left the truck. The crash had involved so many cars it was shocking. We were surrounded by carnage but the boy was set on finding his sister. I was distressed at the amount of people dead and dying around us, but knew my job/mission/goal was to protect the children. I'm not sure why or how I knew this, but it was my purpose for whatever reason.

We walked past many many cars until finding the other truck. It had obviously rolled, as it was upside down, and horizontal across the road. The driver was gone, his window smashed out. I knew he'd unfortunately gotten away unscathed. The girl was in the passenger seat, held upside down by her seat-belt. She looked dead, but her brother was not panicked. He just looked at me expectantly as I some how appeared inside the cab of the truck. I unbuckled her seat-belt, and caught her. Knowing some how that she was only unconscious. I brought her out onto the road with her brother, and she woke up soon after. Her name was Imogene, but I cannot recall the boy's name, perhaps Ben? They were strange kids, they weren't afraid during the ordeal, other than fear for the other's safety. They could see me, and I could affect them physically, however I was not physical.

They knew me, well it seemed, and I knew them. However I do not recognized them in the physical sense and I've never met them before in my life. I feel as if I may have been a guide of sorts, but I've never experienced this sort of projection before.
Has anyone else ever projected as a guide, and does anyone have any insights?
Thanks! :-D

This sounds like a retrieval. You knew things about where you were and instinctivly did what was required.
You may have known the location where you were quite well but in the physical you've never been there. It's nomal for it to resemble a mixup of places you do know.
You were successful and thats what counts.
Id guess you've been enjoying your nocturnal travels for a while.  This activity seems to be asked of many travellers. It's something I've been doing for 30+ years and they get very interesting.

Here's one of mine from around January.

There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Don't forget that death(hence NDEs) are forced projections of sorts. In many conceptual frameworks, these NPR's are categorized as lower planes of the astral. Kinda of like a singular individual hell or limbo state in which the dreamer perpetually creates. When people have traumatic deaths you can imagine that they must cope with the limited information they had of what reality was before they are 'cut off'. This is all widely verified subjective data of course.

I am going to echo Szaxx about the retrieval, because it does sound like one to me as well. A little peculiar one, but one none the less. If I had your experience, that's what I would chalk it up to.

How wide was the environment? Was it super detailed and intricate? I usually put the amount of details past a simulation test. If my perception of the environment was beyond what I could regularly imagine, it most likely is some deeper stable structure that you stumbled upon. I have stumbled upon a number of F23(smaller belief system territories, like this one. Arguably F22) And they all generally feel like an individual was confined to one location for WaaaaaaY too Long empowered with the tool pure creative autonomy about their surroundings.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

That was really a wonderful dream. You have helped two little children. It feels great when we help someone.
