Hey Guys,

During the vibrations one can sometimes feel the inner sensations of the body very intensively. This includes the heartbeat and the pulse in the whole body. This makes it quite hard to concentrate and maintain the relaxation. I suggest to reduce the relaxation slightly and carefully a bit to end the vibrations and to continue then.

sorry not to sound dumb but how can i reduce the relaxation ? thank you for replying

Astralsuzy

It is normal.  Weird things can happen.  I would advise to keep up your relaxation not to reduce it.  I do not think you can reduce your relaxation.  If you do then you may not get relaxed enough to ap.  You are doing well.  The only thing that is stopping you is fear.  The author of Buhlman ap books, (very good author) says the only way to get rid of fear is to confront it and face it.  You will eventually know there is nothing to worry about and eventually you will have no fear.

The heartbeat is not an effect of fear. It is one of the numerous things, which can happen durinh the vibration phase. The numerous sensations during the vibration phase increase often to high intensity until they force to actions, which abort the relaxation completely. But this phase is not required to make an out of body experience. So one can just "skip" it and save in this way at least the main part of the relaxation.

The relaxation can be slightly reduced by carefully made small actions. A movement of the eyes or the concentration on an emotion or concentrated counting of some numbers (1 -5).

Same thing happened to me on last Sunday. But this time I couldn't get myself out of my body.

It's very common for beginners to experience an increased heart rate during SP. I'm not sure whether it's actually an illusion. I remember distinctly looking down at my chest and my heart leaping six inches above my chest.

i always get the increased heart rate. it is as if everything in my body has shut down and my heart beats faster and louder until i panic and exit whatever state i'm in. a friend who is more experienced with OBEs told me to just let it happen. the problem is i can't tell if my heart rate is actually increasing to dangerous levels or if im just imagining it. hopefully it is the latter.

Treat it as a tactile hallucination.
Thats all it is basically. Nothing to be scared of. If your heartbeats were that fast you'd be wide awake and probably running fast.
Try and sleep while running, it can't be done.
Try and run while sleeping, that's easy.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.
