Question on sexual energy!!

The idea of a sexual relationship locking you into sharing energy for seven years sounds very much like religious propaganda that I've heard before used to scare people out of "promiscuous" relationships. It doesn't really make any sense to me.

From what I understand of the subject, sexual activity depletes energy, but only for a short period, like hours not years. Overactive or underactive sex drive can be caused by an imbalance in the sacral chakra (just below the naval). Without going into a lot of detail on how (simply because I don't know some of the "how") this chakra needs to be brought back into balance if there is a problem here. Sexual activity, or lack of, won't cure this.

With a bit of dicipline, it is possible to channel excess sexual energy from the sacral chakra up through the higher chakras, feeding them with this energy and transforming it into something more useful. Visualising this action while meditating on the chakras is often all that is needed here.

Bare in mind there is a difference between sexual energy and sexual tension. Sexual energy can be channeled as stated above, but the only real cure for sexual tension, without going into detail here, is a good orgasm.

I can't help you with the babies or the condemnation, allthough I would tend to agree with James on that.

What I can suggest is a method of transferring excess energy in the base chakra up to the brow chakra, where it can be better used. I would reccomend however, that you practise the original five of these rites of rejuvination on a daily basis and not simply use the sixth for said purpose. Remember also to be responsible and not to overuse this as it will lead to depletion of the energy in your base chakra, which will cause you problems.

We really are all are part of the same mix, despite the language and cultural clothes we wear, maybe someday you'll understand that.

Hello everybody.

I have a few cuestions about sexual energy. How should it be reguled? Is masturbation good to unblock circuits or is it something that will consume our power? If I dont have a girlfriend how can I canalize this energy in order to do someting good with my spiritual and energetical development? Is it true that when having sexual relations we are "condemed" to share energy for seven years?. Is it true having babys make holes in our energetic bodys? I heard about this in Carlos Castanedas books.
