What exactly was it I experienced? Was it an OBE?

So the other night, I was up pretty late, and around 4:45am I went to bed. Not long after I went to bed did I experience being in between sleep and wakefulness, and not long after that I experienced my heart racing and a feeling of being away from my body. The odd thing was, is that usually when Im in this state, I feel far away from my body, but I dont feel like Iv actually left and had an OBE, but this time, I saw things, but I had to work to move my conciousness more there so I could see more, and I dont feel as if I ever fully reached this place. I actually saw a lot of different things, but the main thing/place was this diner, which had a lot of purple lights outside of it. All I really remember is the purple though, thats the main thing. Was this an OBE? I couldnt move at all from where I was, and I tried calling apon someone Iv talked to Semi out of body before (thats a whole different story), but she never came. What do you guys think?

Purple is a colour lots of people report seeing too. Most of those are from a semi lucid state similar to what you have described.
Put yourself there and totally forget about your sleeping body. Any thoughts and you will find you can't disconnect fully giving what you described above.
