Hey guys! I know I haven't been on the site in a long time but I just wanted to update you guys. So since I last AP in November (Please see my topic from long ago  :-) ) I have decided to quit. But On the night before my birthday a while ago (May 21st) I AP without even trying again. I think God let me as sort of a gift to me  :-D. Well anyways what happened was I was in my room and there was all these people coming up to my window staring me down  :-o I read online somewhere that you have to invite spirits into your home and I decided not to cuz they looked evil. But anyways I went into my living room and decided to walk around and saw my bro still sleeping. But the weirdest part was when I turned around I saw a bright funnel or cord. I could have sworn it was a tunnel going into what looked like a void in the sky but now that I think about it it could have been my spiritual cord. Well no matter cuz I immediately went back into my body after.

So I would appreciate comments and question's  :-D please comment away!

If your natural amount of these was zero before you started to try, you have thought enough to put the suggestion into your subconcious mind. Perhaps a thought of how nice an experience would be on your birthday was made at some time. If so do it again.
Just enough thought is all it takes.
The invitation of spirits is mumbo jumbo. There's far too much of that nonsense around. Look at it as it is.
You are keeping the mind awake while letting the body sleep.
That's it basically.
No spirits or walking around a bush naked at midnight under a blue moon.
It's a natural occurrence and deserves no false mumbo nonsense.

Don't quit it. Just keep a bit of time reading the stickies on here.
You'll find out it's straightforward for sure.
It's worth that as you seem to have already had some experiences.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

That was a wonderful birthday present you got.  You must have felt really good to ap the night before your birthday.  Are you going to keep trying to ap?    Szaxx gave you good advice.

I do find it curious that people 'quit'. I wouldn't know how to begin quitting.

I decided to quit at one point.  I had had 2 scary experiences in a row and decided that the fundamentalist christians were right and AP was inherently evil.  In 2 weeks I began to miss it and started up again.  I'm glad I did because I've proven to myself that I create the negative experiences from my own fears.  I don't know if you quit for a similar reason but if so just want to tell you that you can work through that stuff and conquer fear.  AP really is a beautiful gift and I know I'd miss it very much if I quit!
