Hi Everyone,

My name is Mark, I am new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking here for a while, and this place seems like a great community to be a part of if you would like to learn about Astral Projection - which is why I am here.

I have been trying to AP for almost (2) years now. I was frustrated when I first started my AP journey, because of course I expected results right away. The last 6 months or so I am realizing I cannot force this and I have come to terms that it will happen when I am meant to experience it. Lately I have been focusing on trying to relax and let it happen naturally. I understand it is only a matter of time before I successfully AP - and I am very excited for when that day comes! Until then, I am trying to research all methods and study about the subject as much as I can. Just when I think I have read everything out there I come here and I am able to learn even more. So far I have achieved the vibrational state a couple of times and I have induced a few Lucid dreams (Flying is absolutely AMAZING). I have yet to AP (and remember it). I have dealt with sleep paralysis several times in my life and I am a very active sleepwalker. I feel like I am very busy at night in my sleep and a lot goes on, but I cannot recall much with the exception of the occasional dream.

I wanted to thank everyone in advanced, because I see how a lot of you are with each other and I am sure I will receive a lot of good advice/information from each and every one of you.

It is a lot easier to ap when you have had some sleep.  Practice meditating and keep practicing as often as you can.   Sometimes I do an ap technique.

Hi Mark, welcome to the Pulse.
Some of the info generally around isn't the best to learn from. You've come to the right place to be informed on whats relevant.
Hopefully it won't take another two years.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Last night I went to bed like any other night around 11:30pm. I was really tired, so I was not really up for practicing my phasing. If I want to fall asleep quickly, I usually just lie on my right side. Once I was sleeping, I remember waking up, still lying on my side and I was heavy in some good vibrations. I tried to keep calm and I tried not to focus on them (Really hard to do) and then I was just trying to imagine myself slowly leaving my body. I eventually lost focus and drifted back asleep.

I may not have successfully projected, but I made it as far as having the vibrations and REMEMBERING them. I consider it a successful night. I am excited to go to bed tonight to get back to practicing.

One thing that bugged me tho. Initially when I first got the vibrations, I did have a quick moment of fear, but then once I realized what was going on, I was not scared anymore. I need to eliminate all of the fear 100%.

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-)

Here is two videos that I think you might find very helpful.

The first one teaches you how to Focus on a single point, which focus is the name of the game in AP. It is a great one to practice everyday, for the first couple of weeks.

The other is the first technique I ever tried. It to my first NPR (non physical realms) experience and scared the "beejeebus" out of me, lol. I could swear a Helicopter was landing in my living room. It scared and excited me at the same time. Afterwards, I couldn't wait to do this again!

Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

Welcome to the forum Mark, what helped me the most was reading Robert Monroe's books; after reading his books I went on to reading Bruce Moen.

Take care and again welcome to the forum
