I laid in bed for 3 hours and NOTHING

I literally laid in bed for 3 solid hours. I went into sleep paralysis the first hour I'm pretty sure because first my toes started getting tingly, then I couldnt feel them and it went all the way up my body. After about like one hour I got what I think were the vibrations, but I'm not entirely sure. Its sort of a weird feeling. Anyway, I read in numerous placed that you should just lay down calmly and wait for them to pass, so that's what I did. It didn't take long and they were gone. So after that I wasn't sure how to get out so I just kind of visualized for a whole other hour and repeatedly told myself I was coming out of my body, and trying to move my astral body. I just ended up moving my legs and arms though and it felt tingly, then numb. If I kept doing it, the sp would start to ware off. After doing that for awhile I finally just gave up. I told myself this was the day, but I guess not. I'm not going to lie, I feel real discouraged right now. I've been trying on and off for quite awhile. I've got no idea what I'm doing I guess. How do I get out? It seems impossible!

The most perfect projections come about when you tend to put your mind completely at rest. You sound like you were really anxious to get out. Let go of the anxiety!
Soon after the vibrations, you get a tingling throughout your body and that is when your mind needs to be completely calm. I think you might have attempted to move your arms and legs a little too soon!
If you are calm, soon you will get the floating sensation, and you will seem to know just when you should open your astral eyes and start moving your arms and legs!

I would say, do not get discouraged at all and keep trying! Good luck !! Cheers!!!  :-)

Try Wake-Back-To-Bed. That means that you first go to sleep like normal for 2-3 hours or even more. Then you get up (set your timer if you don't awake naturally). Then you lie down again and try induction. Many people say that it is then much easier and faster to induce sensations / vibrational state / trance etc. For me it's the only thing that works actually. So you won't have to be lying there for hours and have a more 'effective' session since you body & mind is already primed for projection because you are in your natural sleep cycle, which is not the case when you start immediately without a pre-sleep phase.

It's obvious that this is important to you but 3 hours is a looooong time for one session. If you force someone to give you something, it is not a gift. :-)

I done this before when I first started. Shows you got a lot of will to get out!

I find now if I do energy work... affirmations... and am generally positive and do reiki on myself before bed, I will usually just float out of body after about 30 minutes.

That is where you are going wrong.   You do not wait for the vibrations to pass otherwise it will be the end of the ap.   As soon as you get the vibrations try to get out.    That is the time to do it.   If your mind is very relaxed then you do not have to do anything.   You will automatically ap.   That is me.    I realise what works for one person may not work for another person.

usually right when I get those sensations and my physical body is clonked out I just start the rolling technique and I roll out everytime. The sensations don't last long for me anymore I just buzz out of body.

You need to sleep an hour less for a while.
Try this and see how you go.
There's far more where the eye can't see.

Me and my Fiancée laid down to get out for two hours and I felt disappointed as You were..
But..
After I was gathering all the info about that 2 hours of trying to sleep consciously I found that I missed something important..

Here it is what happened:
I started snoring and my girl pushed me gently with an elbow to make me stop. She did that once. I felt same feeling of gentle punch 3 times in a row :-) They were exact feeling like copies..
After that I felt my astral hand quickly moving up and down.

I had vibration at one stage. I felt them but I was to anxious and the whole Magic (sparkling feeling throughout the body) was gone.

Keep trying and write down in your journal what you discovered.

That's why it bugs me when people tell someone 'don't try anything, let it happen naturally.'  There are many pre-exit methods (energy body loosening) and exit methods to try when the symptoms are either happening or they have happened a while before.  Do them.  The truth is that everyone has 'natural' projections every time they sleep, but the spontaneous ones don't happen that often.  That's why there are various methods to try.
Take a look at the techniques section, practice and memorize them, and next time you have symptoms (and yes, it's ok to wait until vibes have passed) do a technique or two.

Lying there for three hours is far too long.  No wonder you did not ap.   You were probably getting frustrated.   I would not lie there any more than one hour.   One hour is long enough.    Take a break and try again.    If ap does not happen you need to try and make it happen.  Do an ap technique.  I would not wait a long time to do an ap technique.   Forget about the vibrations as vibrations do not always happen.   You can still ap without getting any vibrations.
