Hi everyone,

I had a unique experiences last night. I randomly woke up at 4am. I knew it was an opportunity to attempt an AP, sure enough the vibration came along. Next thing I felt my eyes opened, and I could see the darkness of my room. However, I realized it weren't my eyes that I'm using to observed my room, but they were my astral eyes. At his point I tried to go to a different location. Unfortunately, I woke up.

Also, has anyone every heard Angelic instruments during their vibrational stage or AP experiences? I heard Wind Chimes, when I thought of the word "Jesus." Literally I heard the Wind Chimes!! Or something similar to that

I am not religious in anyway. I grew up as a Buddhist, but now more of a spiritualist. As I randomly thought of the word Jesus, I heard the noise. I thought that was rather weird.

Not sure what to make of these experiences but only to improve my AP techniques. They are fun lol

I've heard chimes a few times.  They are lovely :-D.  I would hear them right after the vibrational state and after them I would get visions.  Around this time I was a bit focused on finding out who my guide was (still don't know or if I even have one) but I tended to think it was my guide saying "hello".  Maybe.  Who knows.

I agree!! I knew I wasn't crazy when I heard the chimes. I'm not sure if they are chimes but that's the closest thing I can relate to the angelic noise I heard.

That's awesome!

Has anyone else heard these chimes?

I have heard a harp playing smoothly during SP.  I aborted the AP and just stayed and listen.
Boom chika wow wow!

I'm not trying to scare anyone but I've heard some sinister laughing before. I just chuckled back until I gained my full awareness. It's different for everyone but there will always be some similarities and each exit can have it's own feel.

Yes, some experiences don't seem to be the most pleasant.

I have heard blood curling screams. Helicopter blades near to my head and have been pulled out of bed by my ankles and corkscrewed through my bedroom ceiling. So, I definitely understand people's fear in this. The Helicopter blades sound was my first official totally consciously aware experience. Kind of a welcome to the NPR. Are you sure you want to proceed, lol?

One time when MJ was out of town, I was awoken by her son crying that something was wrong with MJ's grandson. Nobody was in the house at all. After that experience I had to walk around my home for about a hour just to stop the chills that were running up and down my spine. When I first awoke from it and found that it was a NPR occurrence, I said to myself "Hah, good one, you got me this time". But I still had the chills, lol!  :-P

EscapeVelocity

Yeah Lion, dontcha just love the bloodcurdling screams! Lol

I had the helicopter blades too, a long time ago, turned into a LD with a black chopper hovering outside my window. Floated up and out the window to investigate and lost it.

AZ, in my experience it's just subconscious astral exit noise, keeping you honest, little fear checks, they may lessen over time but apparently never go away completely. They still fool me from time to time.

And some people get beautiful music...go figure.  :-D

Well it's good to know that I'm not going crazy lol.

The wind chimes or whatever the sound is sounded so clear. Crazy experience...

Also, as much as I like to say "I have finally AP" I truly don't know if I did.

It's hard to clearly describe my experiences. All the experiences, I feel vividly awake and these aren't lucid dreams. But I feel like an energy in a dark mist. I don't feel any presence and sometimes the scene changes to an almost real life experience.

How exactly can I tell if these are AP?

EscapeVelocity

It's hard to know, not knowing more of your experiences. If you are bouncing between LDs and your physical body, you can be subjected to all sorts of noises, visuals and feelings. It feels extremely real and intense and at any moment can accelerate your fear impulse and make things nasty. You have to develop a strong sense of detachment and refuse to recognize even the possibility of fear. It can get quite confusing.

One theory says its a kind of internal check or safety mechanism to keep you in your body, another says it is an Astral security checkpoint of sorts, another says it is just "astral noise/feedback" because of your proximity to your physical body. Once your out in the RTZ it's best to move 15-20 feet away from your physical.

If you know that your physical body is lying or sitting restfully in a bed or chair, but you are experiencing another area or situation, sound etc. other than that, then you are having a NP (Non Physical) experience. Call it AP, OBE whatever you wish. The bottom line is, you are experiencing something outside of your physical focus.

truly is. I've become better with the experiences. I really don't have any fear because I've read inside and out about AP.

I sure hope so. But everything seems like a big mysterious cluster.

So confused..

I think this is where Kurt Gödel's "Incompleteness Theorems" comes into play.

Basically it states that we won't know for sure until we are on the other end looking in. In other words looking in through the out door because we have transitioned to our next state of being.

He uses the Galaxy and all of it's secrets in his comparisons. Saying that we won't know how everything runs until we can look at the Galaxy from the other side.

To do that, we need to have the technology first though.

EscapeVelocity

Welcome to the big mysterious cluster... Confused and multiplying.... :-D

I have heard wind, really loud wind with no chimes.  It was like next to a jumbo jet loud.  That didn't startle me until someone with cold hands grabbed mines and started to whisper to me.  I call that a AP blocker. The cold hands and whispering made me not to want to AP.

Sounds beautiful!    When I was younger, in the hypnopomic state I would hear a very beautiful, deep, rich musical chord.  Also I read an NDE where the experiencer was with Jesus and Jesus used a musical tone to call an angel over to him.  I've read other accounts where entities/E.T.s use musical tones to communicate.

TheTimeTraveler

Thanks everyone. I think I have a better sense and knowing what the astral plane is now.

You can hear absolutely any sound you wish with a thought, even in light trance. These wierd noises always annoyed me years back and quite recently I decided to do some experiments. They can be made to order.

The crazy thing is these sounds aren't just imagination.

True.  The crazy thing is trying to wrap your brain around the nature of the reality your experiencing.  It's "real" but as Szaxx said above, it can be changed by you into anything you want.  For example I once heard a tortured screaming sound in the hypnogogic state. By intent I was able to change the sound in pitch and dynamic, and then make it stop when I told it to.  Second example--I have heard in the trance sate, musical compositions (complete symphonies and other complex pieces) --amazing works of art I have NEVER heard before and that were not created by me--unless I created them in my previous existence and if that's so I guess I am a genius. lol.  As I was listening to one of them one night I suddenly felt afraid --no reason for it--just that basic 'SP' fear most of us experience from time to time.  As the fear increased, the beautiful music changed to having a bunch of wrong notes in it.  Also the pitch and quality of the sound turned sour and ugly.  Basically, I changed someone else's composition with my own thoughts.

My conclusion from all this is that the nature of non physical reality is able to be changed and influenced by us, but this does NOT mean that we should necessarily reduce it to 'imaginary.'  After all, The musical compositions I heard were absolutely real.  A real, intelligent person/ entity/ consciousness created that music and graciously allowed me to listen to it.  However my own negative emotions completely changed the nature of what I heard.

Some of the sounds we hear are our own thought creations and some come from the consciousness of others.  Both kinds can be influenced/ changed by us by our intent and emotions.  So don't think that just because you can change and manipulate sound that it is necessarily a bunch of imaginary garbage.  Some of it probably is....and some isn't.    In my first example above, the tortured scream, it was proven to me that this one was my own thought creation--so you could say imaginary.  I won't go into how it was proven--will take to long.   The music, however, was proven to me to be someone else's creation.  I could influence and change them both.  Hope this is helpful or at least interesting!  :)

@soarin12

That is pretty amazing. This really makes me want to induce more AP/LD/OBE now

Thanks for the info

deepspace

I've also heard some pretty amazing sounds, super HI-FI music that sounded like I was right inside the speakers, guitar music while floating through space, glass breaking, people suddenly yelling things. It's like we are radio tuners and you just start turning the knob to random stations.

But THE most amazing thing I ever experienced was mainly visual. I was watching this scene which looked like something from World War II. There was a group of soldiers moving around inside of a building that was more than half destroyed. The roof had been blown off and I could see them walking around inside. The level of detail was amazing and everything in Hi-def vivid color.

All of sudden as I'm watching, the entire building blows up, pieces are flying everywhere, smoke and dust going into the air.

Then an even more amazing thing happens, the entire event goes into perfect reverse video and I watch the entire thing backwards! Then it repeats in slow-motion! I was astounded, wondering where in the world did that come from?
It's all a dream
Light passing by on the screen

A subconcious action from a thought you've had previously that's most likely forgotten.
Does this sound possible?

Very interesting indeed!, I experience some kind of sound 9/10 times during SP. I will have to experiment next time and report back.
