Childhood Memory

I just remembered something from my childhood. A question I had asked my mom when I was a kid. I was very curious, always asking why something worked or what if such and such happened. Which I generally got the response "OH My GOD, stop asking sooo many questions!" or my family would whine in agony. Well one time I was feeling particularly confused and having a hard time grasping something so I asked "Momma, why do I see through the eyes and not someone else's?" it was the best way I could ask what I was feeling. You see at the time, for a brief moment, I felt like the body I was in wasn't my real body and that I was actually somewhere else....

: P Strange how this memory chose to resurface now.

It's no coincidence that memories like this begin to resurface now that you are paying attention to your consciousness expansion and awareness of the Wider Reality.

Be open for more communications such as this...

Make sure you start writing this stuff in a journal; you will be glad you did several years from now. Seriously, start writing these things down.

Enjoy the ride!
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

I'm in full agreement with EV.

As you proceed down this path, you'll definitely find some surprises which will come in the memories that surface.

For example, back when I first discovered the Astral Pulse I only had the feeling that the experiences which I had labeled as "lucid dreams" all my life were something *more*.
It wasn't until I read Frank's work here and began having my own experiences that the penny started to drop on what all of these experiences are.  The connections were becoming clear to me.
All of these memories of nighttime experiences I had as a child were coming back to me in full force.  Hard to ignore.  :)

I have a hand written journal now that I'm putting different things in, poetry, memories, dreams, drawings from dreams, etc. : )

Hi Ellury.

I remember thinking the same thought.

I have kind of interpreted it as when you are a young child you think you and your family are the center of the universe...you realize that there are other people around but its almost like they don't exist the way you do...
e.g. I thought my teachers stayed at school overnight till I was there the next day to teach me...I thought that was there soul purpose.

I remember realizing that my friends were just as real and important as I was and I wondered why I saw through the eyes I saw through...I wondered why I couldn't see through there eyes...or why was I this person and they were that person.

Another thing I remembered a few years ago was that when I was a child I used to think about "waking up inside my dream" (that's how I used to put it) I remember telling my friends at the age of 7 "yeah I have been practicing to see if I can wake up inside my dreams"
I only remembered that after I actually started having spontaneous lucid dreams and remembering them.
