I think my two year old went out of body with me today.

A bit of background info- I started having out of body experiences in 2009. I immediately started researching it; reading Robert Monroe's books really helped put what was happening to me in perspective. In 2011 I gave birth to a beautiful girl who takes after me in the artistic attitude department. Flash forward to today, 7/29/14 and it's a normal day. I woke up grumpy for whatever reason and my daughter is a two year old handful. It took a lot of persuasion to get her to lay down for a nap, so I laid down with her to speed up the process.

Not more than ten minutes in I felt the subtle vibrations and thought, 'Oh good, it'll be nice to pop out for a bit.' I then literally thought 'OUT' which normally pops me right out of my body, but for some reason that wasn't the case this time. I tried another non-vocal 'OUT', and to my frustration only my feet were levitating out of my body for a bit. After that I did the next best thing and asked for help getting out- this normally works like a charm. This time I could feel tugging at my feet, but oddly enough it felt like who/whatever was helping me was having a bit of a struggle... I then managed to pop out. My vision was slightly foggy which happens every now and then and walked my way into the living room where all of my daughter's toys were scattered around just like when we were awake. Here comes the shocker- my daughter was standing in the living room. She just stared up at me kind of confused, like she had been trying to play, but it wasn't quite working out. I told her non-vocally to take my hand. She did and I said, 'let's go flying'. We shot up through the roof into the sky with me laughing from hysterical joy and happiness while she squealed with laughter right next to me.

Maybe the excitement was too much because I then fell into my unconscious. After waking I immediately asked her if she slept well. She responded, 'I had sweet dweams.' I asked her if she flew with mommy and she screamed, 'YEAH!'. Her communication isn't quite up to par yet, so she ran off to her toys in the living room leaving me with a whole lot of wondering.

This is the only OBE I've had with another person without 'time travel' and other entities being involved. Just thought I'd share.

Like mother, like daughter :-D

Great experience!

As she progresses in her childhood, be sure to ask about her dreams every now and then to make sure she's having positive experiences and knows to come to you if things get confusing or scary. I'm pretty sure I was having a repeating confusing OBE that terrified me for years and my parents, not knowing anything about this stuff, had no help to offer me.

That's really cool! Thanks for sharing!

This is great story, I had a similar experience; my son (4) is sleeping in the bathroom and he was cold (projecting) so I put a sweater on him and grabbed his hand and we went flying!  He never spoke, but he had a smile on his face from ear to ear!

Two of my young one's talked about me being in the sky constantly around 2 yo.
They're in their 20's and vaguely remember it. Pity really.
Good experience.

Thanks guys, really appreciate any and all feedback. This is my first post here, so it's awesome to know that people have had somewhat similar experiences with their children. I've tried for years to meet up with a fellow out of body traveler (best friend), and 'failed', and this is the first real experience I had with another individual in my waking reality. Never thought it would have been my daughter though!

The problem with meeting up is you are just starting to learn the art of projection and using a physical world way of thinking. It doesn't work quite so clear cut as that. It's called a projection for a reason. A projection is a representation of something thats being shown. On a common level look at films. They're a recording where light, film and a flat wall are used to project the images. Although not real they project the stored images and you become one with them by watching. The effect is you interpret the photons bouncing off the wall as real.
This recreates the original scene and you feel like you're there although you know you're not physically there.

Being concious of the experience and aware is the true reality. The physical is a tiny part of reality, yet nobody can accept this bar a few.
