A Strange occurrence while attempting OBE.

A couple nights ago i was attempting to leave my physical body. I had a 1 hour long guided OBE video playing from my headphones,
it didn't take me long to get to the state of protective paralysis or body sleep mind awake-state.

At this point my mind sometimes wonders sometimes im thinking where should i put my focus on sometimes i get slightly irritated when nothing happens,
but this time i just deicided not to care about anything that hapens but just to watch what goes on and sometime after 45minute i heard a loud "beep beep beep"
My battery was almoust dead and noise scared my just a little bit and my body remaind in the state of the paralysis but i the blackness i had been staring evolved,
it felt and seemed like the beep noise had broken a shade or a curtain.

And lot's of patterns appeared right after the beep, they moved wildly and formed a tunnel for a couple seconds and i saw holes in the distanse in a way like the canvas of darkness/blackness had been thorn i thougth to my self that this is finally it, i saw the holes as a port to the astral realm i watched one of the hole and i could see a forest scenery and a castle in there but i was unable to go there and everything was over in a matter of seconds.

Now dear forum i ask for your wisdom as a humble man, what happened? why couldn't i leave?(not even sure how to) why did something that maked me even more alert than i was triggered everything?

If you dont want to answer any of the questions but you would like to analyse the whole thing and sum it up that would be cool too.

The background breaking up and a scene forming behind it is familiar. It's a rare occurance though the detail viewable from the holes is very clear.
Your description is very similar, it's difficult to stay calm too, you get surprised by the speed and tend to analyse what's occurring and that kills it.

If and when i manage to stay calm when this happens again whay is the key of getting to that place? or do i just need to remain calm and i will be there?
I have seen the holes on done of ny earlier attempts but never before have they been as vivid and this was also the first time i expirienced the tunnel and the holes at the same time.

Do your best to stay aware without getting to involved. It needs to clear itself and leave the scenery behind. This may remain and you go towards it like it was a set on a stage or it may surround you by itself.
The tunnel if it remains intact would be the best place to enter. The experiences through these are awesome.
