An example of shadow forms in a RTZ projection.

I rarely have spontaneous projections that I remember as such. But in the course of the night last night I had one that provides an excellent example of shadow forms.  The projection was a false awakening in the real time zone. The first clue to the nature of what I was seeing was in the time zone. It was a different appearance of the bedroom. I'm not sure where the appearance was generated from but it was definetly not where I was sleeping. A nightmare preceded the false awakening and had demons that I was trying to escape and I touched one of them and it dissolved into my arm. When I woke up ( in a projection ) I found that I could not control the arm that touched the demon and it started to wave around violently. The cat then jumped on my bed which was another clue. The door was latched shut and the cat cannot open that particular door. ( he can open other ones)  I finally woke up out of this state. I was awakened an angel that I work with who explained what happened. He was present there at the time but I did not see him. everything I described is shadow form these were constructs of my own mind generated via a dream. The presence of the angel was the only reality in that room at that moment. And that reality I did not see. So shadow not only can overwhelm what you see, it can prevent you from seeing the reality that is actually there. Edgar Cayce said that all sight comes from God in the book " How to Develop Your Psychic Abilities" The closer you are to the source the less you will see the shadows.. The negs run from me and have for a long time.
Your last part is very true IMO.
It seems belief and fear can generate these from within. Have no fears and anything negative will run as your minset is far too strong for them to manifest.

I watch too many horror movies and my husband writes horror fiction.  Lots of food for my mind to generate these things. The being was able to explain to me and I realized what had happened and was okay after that. I get out but I never remember what I'm doing. .... and now with the clairaudience I hear stories LOL

The audio phrases are good at throwing you off course especially if your calculating something. I hear them on occasion in meditation and many times more while awake doing my job.
Horror stories may instruct your subconcious to manifest some meanies. Stay aware and know they're likely your own fear testing in action. I get the occasional eerie feeling and see a shadow launching itself in my direction. It's jumpy for sure but you kick yourself afterwards.
To remove shadows, turn on a light, then they're gone.
You still jump though.
It could be worse if you're scared of the dark, we all know the mind plays tricks in low light conditions.

I cut out the bedtime horror reading.  THe being said I was terrified. In fact one time when I woke from a nightmare they showed me what they were hearing ( my screaming) and it was pretty disturbing. But I don't remember really well when I wake up so the feeling of fear vanishes pretty quickly and I'm left wondering whats going on and why everyone was so worried. Then when they showed me that I realized I wasn't really remembering things all that well.

  The development of these forms is a spiritual discipline which requires development that will only be found on the path which leads to spiritual develoment and a divine connection. Searching for God is the key to this as well as any other psychic spiritual development. If you have an interest, you need training in various disciplines. It's often difficult to get a hold of a teacher who can help you. There are serious consequences to evoking a tulpa or other similar spirit if you do not have the ability to control it.
