Pluto Mystery

NASA makes it so easy for conspiracy theories. There is their story, then the truth. But who really knows what the "truth" is?

Take this new event for example. Recently there was a news article taken by NASA's New Horizon probe showing 4 mysterious evenly spaced spots. Each one is 300 miles in diameter.  The photos were released in anticipation of the probes July 14th closer inspection of Pluto.

The entire story of the Probe's long journey is quite fascinating.

Cue to today's headline. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/something-scary-went-wrong-nasas-181900139.html

Now, enter the conspiracies, lol. Coincidence? I personally don't believe in coincidences. You can finish the story for yourself though!

Interesting find, perhaps it's a long lost weather balloon interfering with the electronics. Lol.
The discs will be interesting that's assuming the probe functions correctly. They may be synchronized swamp gas ya know.
There's far more where the eye can't see.

EscapeVelocity

Two weeks shy of a nine year long mission for a flyby, that is a tad bit strange, but I'm sure the probe has sent back plenty of info heading out there past some of the other planets; what's a little system shutdown and a reset now and then? Heck, during that nine years, Pluto has even been dropped from the recognized list of planets...

Just as long as Pluto is not Nibiru, and slipping out from its orbit...
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

It's definitely a better story than this one is, lol!

I don't think those evenly spaced spots have anything to do with the malfunction. Escapevelocity is right; what is a malfunction now and then? Our technology is enormously sensitive. Things go wrong allmost all the time. At NASA, it is probable that they spend more than 60% of their time on error-correcting. At first sight, the pattern of those spots is somewhat strange though. But the hexagon pattern they observed on saturn is even more "mysterious". The whole "pattern mystery" may have something to do with electromagnetic fields because in these spectra, current vectors are more neatly arranged.

Absolutely brilliant images, no? I want to see images of at least one planet outside of our solar system to that resolution this century. It is doable.

There were some great anomalies sighted on that flyby. Richard Hoagland reads a lot of bizzare conspiracies into the whole thing, but while I love his attitudes, he does take things too far for me most times.

One interesting feature was all of the hexagon-shaped structures. Hexagons do appear in nature, even very large ones, and sometimes certain kinds of impacts do form hexagonal craters. One very noteable hexagon in our solar system that is incredibly large, and somehow almost unknown, is the north pole of Saturn. Almost boggles the mind that a structure that large could be anything but circular... but there it is somehow!

Oh, thank God, you're someone who accepts 100 000 engineers and scientists are more reliable than 5 degree-less twats who are into lie porn.

Yeah... my home country's finest hour... getting humans off the earth and setting foot on another celestial body, with a digital watch computer for guidance.

I hope they don't do something so stupid that anything but that is what we are remembered by when this era of history has faded.
