Lending

Hey all, name's Lending, (duh) and I'm here because, well, I believe in OOBEs and Astral Projections and I want to be able to execute it. I have been reading for maybe something like two weeks and though I have heard of it in the past, I have had many experiences since childhood spiritually. I often have precognitive dreams (I believe they are called) where I will dream an event, minor in circumstances usually, not recall it upon waking, and then have it happen in this realm and intuitively know that I had dreamed the event sometimes days, weeks, months, or even years prior. I have also had 'lucid dreams', where I was aware that I was in a dream, but am now interested in graduating to projecting out and entering the Astral plane, searching for more knowledge as well the ability to heal.

I would like to get started with mentioning that I have been trying to have an OBE and feel very confident that I will eventually experience it and thus have been messing with a few methods. I've found laying on my bed to reach a relaxed state is best and of all the methods I have read, feel as though the entry through lucid dreaming is the most likely. I haven't practiced many of the other methods long at all but when reading them from the .pdf Astral Projections: Amazing Journeys Outside Your Body, I've decided to try the ones that best felt possible for me, like the "red dot", "jump technique", "stretch out technique", "the trampoline" and "from lucid dreams"--the last being the go to for me right now.

Last night I tried this after practicing the affirmation "tonight I will have a lucid dream"  through the day. I found that as I slept and began to dream, I would say this expression and the dream would disappear, seeing only a whiteness with colored lines that seemed florescent. I felt heavy and, at one point, began feeling 'vibrations' but just as quickly got up saying, "whoa!". I began resting again and about two other times, when I would begin dreaming, would say the affirmation and the dreams would again dissipate. I tried a 'command' to leave my body too. Trying to 'see', I found myself opening my physical eyes and feeling disappointed. (I will not be deterred!) At the beginning I was very afraid when first going to bed, but after these experiments, I felt very happy and even joyous, confident I will have this very real experience. Last time something told me to not command to project but rather to "do it," not say it, but "do it/carry it out", as if I already knew how--it being a matter of will, no words.

I will try again and update this thread. I'm sure with the time it will take, will project out, at least into my room! Anyway, I plan on doing a lot of reading here when I can and asking questions. Any help directing me to links and hearing similar testimonies would be most welcomed!

Hi and welcome to the Pulse.
There's a fair amount of good information here at the top of the page.

If you would prefer a more personal based  source of help you could obtain this if you join the astral academy.

There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Hey welcome. Firstly, lucid dreams and astral projection are the same things "projecting" is simply the act of being aware in the non physical. " Astral Projection" in your mind would be wilfully separating the awareness of your physical body elsewhere... To perhaps the "astral plane" something you assume is seperate from the "dream planes" ..correct me if I'm wrong? Ultimately it's the same Shifting your consciousness to an alternate reality. W.I.L.D (Wake Induced Lucid Dream) going from a state of wakefulness into a dream or "projection" same thing. I like to think of a theatre projector, except we are the projector in our own worlds projecting what ever images we so desire, and perhaps some we don't.. Perhaps our worlds will collide ... Maybe they already co-exist... Then again maybe not?

Long story short, your probably making it more complex than you need to?
