Retrieval? No idea what is this

Hi to everyone!
Yesterday a had an experience and wanted to share it here so if any of you know something about it can share it with me.
The thing is, i was in bed after taking a nap. It was one of those times when you really want to keep sleeping but you have to get up, and you have sort of a contradiction because you reaaally want to get up but you also reaaally want to sleep. Well at one point i rolled to the other side of my bed and opened my eyes (i was looking to the wall, i rolled to look a the door). The thing is when i opened my eyes there she was. A little girl standing beside my bed. She wasnt creepy or horrific or anything like that. Just a random girl of, shall i guess, 10 years old, standing beside my bed looking at me. It should be obvious as to i am writing this, but no girl like this live at my house.
Well, when i saw her it kind of shocked me, not panic but it was sure a surprise. At that point i couldnt move in my bed, some sort of sleep paralysis. I focused a lot on trying to move towards her to see whats up, and after a lot of intention put in doing it i could move and i grabbed her on the arm and asked: who are you?. At that point i was taken to a dreamlike scenario. It was like going into a dream, but the girl was in the dream. I practically dont remember the dream, just that it had to to with the girl, and that i was in a big house i didnt know of.
Any of you know something about this? Maybe she was showing me sort of her story in the form of a dream. I had no idea.

I can't speak precisely to the fact that you were able to follow her into a dream...maybe this was, like you say, her way of showing you part of her story; so it might in fact, be part of a retrieval; are you living in a new house or one possibly with some history that might advance that possibility? Maybe it was something simpler, like you following a hypnogogic image of your own creation into a dream/lucid dream/non-physical environment? Maybe it was the form a guide took to help you enter the NP... Many of these experiences, we never quite fully understand all the details...maybe the key is to look for the simpler, more basic lessons such as the fact that you found a way to move from a waking state, through sleep paralysis, avoiding the fear of some hypnogogic image showing up (the girl) and moved into the NP... Well done! Have the confidence now to take the experience a bit deeper next time.

In my own sleep paralysis episodes, several times I have been confronted with a little girl standing at the end of my bed staring back at me, often with an impish grin, sometimes looking like Alice in Wonderland, and I know that I am about to be sent off into an adventure in the NP. I haven't ever grabbed hold of her like you did, and included her in the ensuing adventure...nicely done on your part!

That girl could literally be anything including yourself. You need to go by feeling rather than sight in situations like this. It happens to me all the time.
