I have been looking at some methods and I came across phasing so the problem is, I cant come to the flashy darkness part, where there is dark flashing and blobby darkness floating. I swear I did it once, it lasted 5 minutes and darkness was flashing but I was disturbed in the physical. Can you guys give me tips to get to that part again, the noticing darkness part? I cant do rundown things...
Thanks

You might simply be misinterpreting what you THINK you're supposed to experience.
Let's see if I can't describe things a bit more concise... or as clear as I can!  :)

Actually... let me share a couple links to articles I wrote regarding two exercises, The Rundown and The Noticing Exercise.

Hello again, I read some of the other posts about phasing by you on unlimitedboundaries , I found this : http://www.unlimitedboundaries.ca/2010/11/25/xanths-phasing-method/

Could stretching your eyes stop movement in the eye? In the post you do say something about focusing onto the darkness,
my eyes keep drifting around my eyelids, like is that bad? Could this take me away from reaching the flashy darkness thing? ( I hope I make sense)
Thank you

Stretching your eyes out CAN help with that, but most likely won't.  It's a relaxation thing generally.

How about trying to NOT fight the drifting?  Let them go where ever they want to.
When we struggle against what is a natural thing, we tend to cause suffering within ourselves.  So stop struggling against "what is".  :)

See how that works for ya.

You probably won't be able to transition if your eyes keep moving. Next time you wake up take notice of what your eyes do behind closed lids. You will find they are dormant and stay still comfortably. This is the situation you want to replicate. I personally cannot keep my eyes still while noticing, it is too engaging for me.

There is another mode where you try to see without engaging your eyes at all. Eventually you might feel like you are using a different type of vision and forget your physical eyes.

100% and a gold star lol.
This realisation is what's required. It effectively is what you do. You disengage the physical world from your normal senses and connect with the NP using what seems to be the same senses WITHOUT any physical world input being present.
The best example is when you try for ages and give up. You then will have the intent on going to sleep switched to full power and that's all you want to do. This is disconnecting from the world and we know it works.
Use this determination to get all worldly senses out of the way. You may then simply OBSERVE what's percieved. Keeping this level of awareness isn't easy as sleep is snatching it away. Keep it up and you may fall into a scene with enough awareness to have some control. This is a lucid dream starting up. Once it has developed, take full control and strut your stuff interacting with it. This creates more awareness and you break free from the given dream to do whatever you wish.
Use a simple thought of flying through a valley or similar and desire this intently. Nothing more is required, you'll pick up the rest automatically.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

That "mode" becomes automatic when you allow it to. You need to immerse your entire focus into the scene at hand, but just passively at first. This is where the real balancing act begins. How to hold that focus without falling asleep or becoming aware of your physical self again. That is where many people fail. That's why "trial and error" is basically all you can in the early stages do to learn this Art. Either that or wake up to it spontaneously.

You then log your results so you can see what works and what didn't. Soon you will have developed a trustworthy personal technique. Then when you think you are comfortable with it, everything changes and you are back to square one again, lol. You are constantly challenged to progress and evolve. You can't progress when you keep doing the same thing over and over again.
