Greetings , today i want to hear your experiences with Affirmations

- How Successfull they are for you
- How do you use them / what kind of affirmations u use
- Any other tip you can give

My native/main language but mostly i think in english and speak to my self in english sometimes with short senteces like 50/50  ( 50 English ; 50 My language ) so that's the part where i can't decide which language will brain work better with while using affirmations.

Affirmations are great.  It can help a lot.   It does not matter what you say so long as you understand it.

i always make sure my affirmations are in the present tense. Works well with the law of attraction
I love astral projection!

I don't really use affirmations like some normally do but everyday I go you youtube channels like Motivationgrid and Mateusz M and watch different videos centered on motivation.  Really helps out throughout the day.

I have recommended the use of affirmations many times. It is not just for beginners but also more experienced projectors when we slow down in our experiences.

Affirmations serve to re-program our internal computer; they communicate simple wishes or instructions to our inner/Higher Self.

They clarify, they instruct...they are very basic programming.

They don't always work (there may be another process at work), but when they do it seems almost stupidly simple...all you have to do is MAKE THE REQUEST of your inner/Higher/whatever Self...

Keep them short and simple...talking to your subconscious/inner self is like talking to your dog...you don't lecture your dog (because he just tilts his head and stares at you funny-like and ignores you anyway)...you just give simple commands. Present-tense, no negatives.

My thinking also includes the idea that early on our resistance to having an OBE may reflect a natural self-defense mechanism. In this case, we should try an affirmation that asks permission and agreement from our inner/Higher Self to move beyond this defense mechanism. This could involve variations on the theme and may require some time to allow for integration of the OBE idea and acceptance.

Affirmations, in the form of encouraging words, certainly cannot hurt the process. Fairly inexpensive, as well.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Nameless

I've found a lot of success by simply stating my need then forgetting about it.

How I learned to do that is rather comical. Many years ago when the kids were young we rented a small place with almost no yard to speak of. Almost every evening I would sit on the back steps and ask God or whoever was up there to help us find an affordable place with a spacious yard for the kids to play in.

One day I'm sitting there doing my usual moaning and groaning and begging when I hear a voice say, "I heard you the first time. Along with that was a visual image of a kid hanging on mom's apron begging over and over again for cookie.

EscapeVelocity and Nameless, I like this programming stuff, I just started to learn it few weeks back, and I feel it works or will manifest somehow.
It is strange what barriers we can hold up, even it is projection failure (I think I have one big barrier to let me to NP). I'm programming my subconscious and maybe I will see wonderous results soon.
It sounds complicated at first when we try to understand this whole process and the relationship with "it", but now I try to communicate with my other self deeper too.

One thing that is important with using "affirmations" is you need to word them in a past tense. Meaning you don't want something to occur. You are wording it so it is "already done".

Example: I wish to have a LD/OBE tonight, would be now "I am lucid in my Dreams, "knowing I am Dreaming".

My night affirmations goes like this. First I release my focus over my physical body.
"By my act of will I release my focus over my physical. My consciousness stays aware as it is free to travel, explore and adventure, while my physical body rests, regenerates and rejuvenates (heals). I have full memory recall of my adventures upon my awakening. I then log them in my Journal."

In that simple affirmation I have covered all the "bases". I use this every single night. I have been using a adaptation of this every night for about 4 years now. Brain Entrainment is very important. I used the "rest, rejuvenate and regenerate part as tech for "self healing".

I used to use "Brain entrainment" while younger setting and achieving sales "quota" goals each night, before the next business day. I was in a high pressure door to door sales working for a traveling firm and they were "slave drivers". I was young and naïve at the time. But I learned quite a bit from that job that helped me in my further occupations and basically life in general.
