Have any of you sensed or seen the so-called spirit animal within you. Up until now I never gave it much of a thought, but yesterday while I was activating my chakras I actually saw as a visual flicker the spiral of chakras turning into a golden dragon who jumped out of my head upwards and dove back into my body merging back with my energy. That intrigued me so much, that last night before bed I imagined riding on the dragon above my neighborhood, all the way to the ocean and then the mountains. It was a great visualization. I felt the flight motion as well and I requested during AP to connect with my dragon, ride it and communicate with it. Well, I didn't have an AP last night, but as soon as the next one comes and I get to ride my dragon for real, I will let you know how it goes.

My favorite Elemental Dragon that I create now is the Dragon that represents the element "Air", and yes, it is a "Golden Dragon". Air signifies psychic awareness, knowing and "Gnosis".  The Dragon ruler of Air is known as "Sairys".

Mary Jo was always drawn to the element "Earth". So, we balanced one another!  :-)

Ah, interesting! I have always identified myself as an air bender. I think I can control the element of air the most.

My Spirit Animal is the Bear.

The Bear is a powerful guide to support physical, emotional and spiritual healing.
The Bear is an animal that lives a solitary life.
The Bear spirit can also be a great helper to dedicate time and energy to more introspective practices, such as self-inquiry or meditation.

This fits into my life perfectly.

The Bear shows up in my dreams all the time.  I have even dedicated a separate section of my Journal to Bear experiences.
I have even met my Bear in a Lucid dream...He took off his costume head and guess who I saw looking back at me?  Myself!  :-)

Oh, nice, T-Man! I believe these animal characteristics are a part of ourselves in form. I also saw myself as a part of the dragon. But the dragon was much more than just that fragment of my spirit. It was like a protector, a higher power, a guide.

What a coincidence, I actually had a dream last night about a bear. It was not attacking us, but many of my group started running. I said, don't run, the bear is not attacking. Then I googled this morning what does a bear in a dream mean lol.

In this life I have acquired quite a few. That is to say, where Spirit has relayed something more through the creatures in the world around me. Some more prominent than others.

Those prominent ones which are more recent or consistent through out my life being...

The mockingbird - Strong connection to mysticism/Sufism

Ladybug - Strong association with Divine Message

Dalmatians- Familial lineage/protection

Wasp - Strong shaman medicine/ use of words

Alligator - Association with emotions and ability to navigate

Shark - Somehow connected with romantic partners

Butterfly - Connected to mystic romance/AIR (usually black in color)

Spider - "Lines of Fate" / creative power / astral or in-between

Really there are so many more. I am prompted to share of the snake/cobra in my dreams. I too have dreamt of bears, tigers, wolves... And yes dragons. I remember an OBE in my neighborhood where I would run down the middle of the street, and flap my wings like a dragon to fly. Or being able to run rooftop to rooftop before taking off like a dragon. Fun stuff.  :-)
